i thought guppy will eat the shrimp..?

Nope. They get along quite well actually and personally, i think my neon tetras are more aggressive compared to the guppies.
Once a while the neon tetras will nibble the shrimps. Nth serious though.
I've had my nano tank for more than a month and I feed the fishes twice daily. Sometimes once a day.

Btw, how are your shrimps doing?

The links are for DIY stuff...and they are working.

Basically get the kinda aluminium kinda heat pad at daiso (not sure u hv that in taiwan), use double sided tape n it stick to the aquarium. Only front i dont paste it.

How to insulate the aquarium? My tank running at 26c now. Plan to bring down further if can.

o realy? that will be an added advantage to u then. cause then ur tetra can eat all the larvae of mosquito.

anyway, if the shrimp breed, u still need to take them out to diff tank? maybe tetra will eat the babies?

Possible but hard ,your small mini nano tank make it harder too, 8L water , the parameter easy run.
You may start this tank with some red rili first, I keep some in 2gallon tank without fan/chiller , temperature 27-30c ,after they stable for a month or two, you can try add in few crs. Find these lowest grade like grade b and c as these more hardy if you really want to try against the odds.

I don't think mosquitos will breed in constant running water. Lol..
Yup. I managed to breed a batch of baby shrimps in a separate tank. Gotta separate the pregnant shrimp from the tank otherwise they'll get eaten.

Try wrap around the tank with the heat insulator (from daiso) double sided tape to the tank. It looks like the aluminium kinda paper. Put the fan on facing the water u will get 1-2c lower but must always add water (daily basis). U can add chilled water though.

H2O2 & antibiotic - Oxytetracycline and any Tetracycline(if you can find locally).
But bacteria infection if too severe is beyond cure. But these that early stage infected maybe saved.

any other stones besides the removed coral stone?
something is buffering your PH.
HELP Advance Shrimp Soil is supposed to be slightly acidic.
