As a new credit cardholder, you are recommended to start with getting the Maybank 2 Cards.

Renewed my visa mbb Petronas plat card, unfortunately they removed the visa wave feature which I use quit frequently.

Any suggestions for visa with wave?

1. Annual Income: RM24k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: dont mind

3. Card required for: Petrol , groceries , shopping once a while. Mostly just to keep it for emergencies.

4. Existing credit cards if any: None. First time user.

5. Looking at CC from: No idea, was thinking CIMB or MBB since I have accounts there.

6. Others: I was thinking about the MBB2 cards, but my annual salary isnt quite there yet. Just need it for emergencies really.

If you're interested in applying for MBB2 and you have some cash to spare MBB might actually approve you provided you pledge RM5k in FD with them.
