do u know how to disable ipv6 in TM provided Innatech W7100N?
My streamyx is fast on everything... download speed is normally 500KBps... imdb, yahoo movies HD no problem... but youtube is super slow... only watchable at 144p.

EDIT: found it in a hidden setting in WAN.

wan to ask opinion... have read the last few pages n quite a lot of discussion on the router... currently still using tm oren color router came together with vip5... currently have upgraded to unifi30, but noted the speed is sometime worst than vip... direct download speed from the same site will fluctuating between 100kbps to 1mbps but last time on vip5 was 1.7mbps... is this due to limitation from the router?

Tplink has issues with ipv6.im using ac2600 and they provided me a beta firmware with option (pppoe - same pppoe as ipv4)

Guys, be aware that when using IPv6, all your devices are directly addressable from the Internet so make sure you have some sort of IPv6 firewall. At the very least duplicate your IPv4 firewall rules for IPv6.

Noted. If your model only get beta version, i definitely will never get support for ipv6..

Nope, eventually TP Link will release a firmware update for sure, as cheaper model like 841ND (Newest Version) also gets IPv6 support

Why do I feel like after flashing my router to OpenWRT with ipv6 enabled, my torrent speed won't max out anymore, it gets about 90% of max speed then dropped to 40-50% when i left it overnight. And turning off ipv6 in my windows system the speed is back to 100% immediately. I am on Unifi 5Mbit package.

Is it because I am using utorrent? I tried googling and seen comments like switching off ipv6 on utorrent for best performance, but not sure about other torrent client.

Can anyone advice me on my issue below?

I've been using OpenDNS on my mikrotik router for quite a while now. Then, I felt like changing back to Google DNS but after changing the DNS both ipv4 and v6, I lost my ipv6 connection and http://www.damia.com/whatismydns/ still showing me on opendns network.

Help please.

probably there's some caching? and the damia website is not giving me the correct dns. try nslookup and see what is your dns ip

lol, you're right, it is caching issue. Didn't think of using my phone to check for ipv6.
On the phone it's working, on my pc working AFTER I restarted it.
Thanks for mentioning cache buddy.
