Using Padavan's firmware for Asus RT-N56U, now successfully got IPv6 without the need to use tunnelbroker anymore.

But, why after using IPv6 now I can't upload image to image hosting? for instance IMGur.com?

I manage to config tunnel broker with my router. However, open up ipv6.google.com is OK but not ipv6.forum.lowyat.net. Any idea?

Router is Asus with Merlin Build.

Doesn't need to open up ipv6.forum.lowyat.net.
forum.lowyat.net is already ipv6 capable.

Can anyone advice me on my issue below?

I've been using OpenDNS on my mikrotik router for quite a while now. Then, I felt like changing back to Google DNS but after changing the DNS both ipv4 and v6, I lost my ipv6 connection and http://www.damia.com/whatismydns/ still showing me on opendns network.

Help please.

probably there's some caching? and the damia website is not giving me the correct dns. try nslookup and see what is your dns ip
*
lol, you're right, it is caching issue. Didn't think of using my phone to check for ipv6.
On the phone it's working, on my pc working AFTER I restarted it.
Thanks for mentioning cache buddy.

Guys and sifus. I'm aware TM is having network problem, probably underwater cabling issues. Just curious if it is just me having problem with no ipv6 or all of you also not getting ipv6?

This is annoyingly weird. I can't get ipv6. Still the same setting as before, haven't touched or modified anything.

update 1:
Got ipv6 after handful or redialing. Not sure why this happened. Probably will be gone again soon.

update 2:
yep, gone again.

Just want to update. Finally found the reason why my IPV6 kept disconnecting.
It was a known issue with Bitdefender blocking ipv6 icmp. Uninstalled BD on both of our PC and all good and dandy. Damn you BD!

Back to kaspersky for me.

I switched router recently. Now I'm not getting IPV6.
I followed the guide from KLSeet for mikrotik router but eventhough the dhcpv6 client says the router bounded, I'm still not seeing the ipv6 advertised through the network.

According to KLSeet, Active AC Name should changed to BSRKLG02 when ipv6 active but mine still on imse01.as_sp-re0

Can anyone help?

Hi, using klseets settings my Active AC Name also did not change.

Make sure you have this setting in PPP Profile > Default > DHCP-PD Pool.
You have to add the previously created pool and click apply.
If you are missing this setting your devices won't receive DNS addresses
*
Thanks for the info, unfortunately I still don't have ipv6 working.
Just curious, how do you set the ipv6 pool? How do you get the address in the first place?

You will get a dynamic IPV6 address if your connection is bound successfully.

That's the thing, DHCPv6 client status shows as bound but the ipv6 dns did not propagated.
