Yes, pretty much spot on. Was looking at the alternatives before decided on the Wonderpana 66. I think you can get the Hitech at YL Camera.

Anyway, got the Wonderpana for my 14-24mm f/2.8 a month ago direct from Fotodiox website. Shipping was reasonable via USPS and pretty quick. All mounts are machined aluminum. Very nice quality. Comes with the system holder which you can screw in 145mm Fotodiox Pro CPL or UV filter (for those kiasu people) firmly in front of your lens, an aluminum bracket which you can hold the square Fotodiox Pro 6.6" Graduated ND filters (can stack two square GNDs at one time) and a huge pinch type 145mm lens cap. The kit comes bundled with Fotodiox 6.6"x8.5" 0.9 (3-Stop) Hard Edge Graduated Neutral Density Filter and 145mm Circular Polarizer (CPL) filter, To answer your question, yes the 145mm CPL does rotate.

Also got a step up 77mm ring so that I can use the Wonderpana setup on my other 77mm lenses.

This thing when set up is VERY huge. But the reason for it being huge is so that it does not vignette at 14mm on full frame. Hope I can use it more often. Pokai already after buying this and getting a CF tripod / ballhead.

Did u purchase the FreeArc one? hmm.gif

http://fotodioxpro.com/index.php/wonderpan...ntials-kit.html

from i read so far, in the original WonderPana, you can't rotate the square filters..

USD500 for a basic kit will really break the bank.sweat.gif but some effects can't be achieved in PP...

Nahh, not for me. Just like the Polo, too small to be practical and too expensive. If I had the money and was looking for a hot hatch, I would pay a little more for the CBU Mazda3 MPS with a more practical 4 door, higher torque and still with a manual stick. biggrin.gif

No. I think the FreeArc one came out just after I received mine.

Anyway, I was looking at it and indeed it's a nice extra feature but then told myself in what occasions would I need my square filter to be slanted? Most of the time it's flat horizontal.

Would want to use it more often to get back the ROI (if there is such a thing with hobbies sweat.gif ). But yes, in that respect, the 16-35mm f/4 is better in that respect when considering filters.

depend how far you shoot lol.
if shoot food on table. let say you sit in KFC, you have to backward around 1 table unit further away to shoot your dinner plate.

You just answered your own question LOL laugh.gif

Anyway, if you want a more versatile lens for DX, aim for the 35mm instead. 50mm is too tele for general purpose use.

Or even better, go for this if you don't plan to move to FX.
