anyone got it smart scroll working?

I didn't even bother to use it. It is gimmicky like S4 n most useless half baked feature. This is only featured I disabled it. Have patience to use it n than that defeat its purpose.

Does your phone hang and reboot itself when playing candy crush?

Good share. Will add Pandan Indah SC to my list of OK SC thumbup.gif

The 1Utama one was a real pain. More than a week to return my device. The queues there are as bad as some government office rclxub.gif

I was a bit unlucky that time, he said no. Change motherboard and you will have to pay yourself, RM 650. sweat.gif

I was thankful to God that I managed to switch it on which solved my problem after that. Pandan Indah SC is always my favourite SC but it is a bit too far from me... Anyway, Pandan Indah SC is really professional and fixes phones efficiently. Very fast. thumbup.gif

Only the original Samsung SView cover has auto lock/unlock when you close and open the flip, and it works great since I'm using it now. There's a magnet in the flip and authentication chip in the back for this to work.

The original Samsung standard flip cover does not have such feature.

You can install apps like Gravity Screen to enable quite similar functionality by using the Proximity Sensor.

thanks bro for the explanation smile.gif

I use the app Automaton to work with my 2 flipcover cases ( A Niilkin n a generic brandless type). The display will close n open with the flip cover . I can shake phone slightly to wake display if I need to. You can have up to 11 ways to set how you want to use the app. It is a much better n very much less battery usage apps vs gravity screen

Hmm the gear photos is quite good, colour wise and all, can share a larger resolution picture? or is that the smallest?

QUOTE(perror @ Oct 4 2013, 02:13 PM)
Good share fruitie! Perhaps coming from the destEX's perspective, it could really depend on the SC that we send it to? Perhaps time to build a whitelist of SC that have more amicable policies. I sent my SGS3 to 1Utama.

Good GMD Gesturecontrol alternative for unrooted phone, for those who really want to avoid using Home button, and use gesture instead to go back to home screen.
