Wonder it is a design flaw ??

Same problem here. I end up charging with my Note2 charger.

Is it covered under warranty?

Nope, I think the Asus Vivotab Note 8 is the only one with GPS.

My Lenovo Mixx 2 without sim card model has GPS. Local Lenovo finally brought it for sale in Msia after poor uptake & withdrawing from USA market. Its still the thinnest Win8.1 tab out there.

Power failure? That's new, but then I rarely use the camera. do you have other USB devices plugged into the W4? Try removing them and see.

There is a local company producing Win8.1 tablet & selling at Lowyat called JOI8. Tried googling, but not much info on the tablet. Selling price is RM499 according to Star Newspaper advert today.

Should be OK for content consumption & some Office works. Now way u'll get 2GB RAM tablet below RM600. Build quality & after-sales services are question marks though.

I can't live with 16GB storage.

W4-820 have GPS, but reception not so good. In the control panel there is setting for location service.
