Personally using an old Nokia AC10X which isn't even 'proper' 2.1A (1800ma rating IINM) and it charges fine, even while gaming.

As for the 'charging adapter thingy' it does actually help sometimes, if not just to fool the port into outputting more amps OR fooling the W4 into thinking that the cable being used has the 'correct' impedance.

The W4 can be frustratingly picky with charging sources and cables lol. At least the adapter thingy works with my Titan 5A car charger to fool the W4 into charging.

Just to add that my old HTC HD2 charger and cable work flawlessly... So, don't throw away those old unwanted charger. You may need it one day.

I always carry my "generic" non-branded powerbank. Can charge at 2A but not for 1A port... So, yeah, W4 micro-USB "hole" seems to be very "moody" most of the time... I think my W4 is a girl...LOL... "moody" for a week during any month...LOL...u can't just "shove" any "cable" from any "power" port coz she ain't treat your "power" pleasantly...

I am using w4-820, the screen always turn off itself when i am watching video in full screen. I m using casing with magnet, does this affect?
Besides, my w4 always hanged and crash either i surfing, watch video or screen safe mode. (once twice a day)
Does this normal? how to solve this issue?

Thanks

Notice ipmart can ship products from USA to Malaysia:

http://www.ipmart.com/usa/browse/Phones,,T...2.php?cat=16702

Dell Venue 8 Pro 64Gb only $999.

Anyone has experience with this? If any problem with the product has to ship it back to USA?

I reported the same issue in previous posts. When it hangs, I captured the video and showed to the counter.

I've got my motherboard replaced at the service centre.

Anyone experiencing problem with the micro HDMI port?

Tried a hdmi converter, 2 direct micro hdmi to hdmi cables to 2 different TVs. Both did not work.

Could it be my hdmi port is faulty?

What do you mean by didn't work? You can't seem to duplicate the monitor image so try extending and using lower resolutions.

Nothing, the display is not detected at all.
Tried projecting via the side bar, same.

Tried using 1 converter, 2x micro to normal hdmi cables and 3x TVs.

Safe to assume that my hdmi port is faulty? sad.gif

I bought a micro-HDMI to HDMI cable few weeks back but haven't tested them until today when I checked this thread.

So here's my result :

Had to adjust the resolution of the TV to fit the resolution of W4. Sound and video response rate was good. Mine was a RM15 cable bought from a Lelong seller.
