Yeah same here bro, got the car and did not wash it yet for 2 weeks. This Monday will be 1K service and maybe ask SC if can wash the car or not for FOC instead of paying 10 bucks for washing.

Interestingly my SC gave me some sort of coupon for "discounted car waxing", 1st wax costs about RM70 but I heard its not too good to wax too often as it will damage the paint job of the car.

Actually you can just wipe your car with a bucket of water. This is how my neighbor clean his new BMW and I'm following him too. In some sense it is cleaner than we use car wash detergent. At least I can't find any water marks on my windows with this way.

You do waxing on some car wash center, they are charging rm100-120 only.

polish will... wax will not... however, before wax... have to polish or you will be sealing contaminants in...

if the car super new... jus let them wax it la... i sent mine to waxon on the 2nd day after all my tint was done...they have a package for RM238 or RM248 which does a bit of detailing on the paint...

100KM really too slow for me bro. I prefer to cruise at 110 and if needed vroom when I feel like it. Its not fuel efficient but my driving style tends to be this way smile.gif

For me, to be able to cruise at 110kph without stressing the engine let alone hearing loud engine noise on my Jazz is a blessing...

wax won't damage ur car paint and it is recommended to wax every 1-2 months(or when the wax wears off). waxing is to protect our car la not damage it. but u cannot say the same for polish tho.

Maybe it's the phobia of having a noisy engine after driving the Alza for 3 years... Gosh, is there a name for this kinda phobia...? ph34r.gif
