Yep damn fast. I will switch to it if I stay in condo!
For landed property I will use UniFi definitely.
Look how badly Maxshit screw up their customer that uses Biz68 plan.
I wonder when will they screw Maxshit Fiber up. [Touchwood je]

How is Time Home Fibre compared to Unifi in terms of actual download speeds? Is Time more stable? Why is Time advertising their fibre as being the only 100% real fibre in the market?

Can someone clarify? What is Maxshit?

That is Time Marketing Plot as they mostly focus on condominium where they fix all the condominium with full fiber "real fibre" but TM will use existing copper on condominium to link to their fibre to cut cost. But Time coverage, i think is maybe less than 5% of overall TM coverage. They will need 3 Years or more to be on par with TM if TM stop expanding their fibre coverage. laugh.gif

Time can be found in most higher end condo's in KL so coverage not really important for me. Whats important is the quality of the internet. How does Time rank compared to Unifi or Maxis home fibre?

so I registered for unifi 5 days ago and installation due for tomorrow. on the day of my registration i got a message from 62100 saying my installation will be on 5th december which is tomorrow. however I received a message from this number +60322411622 today saying that it's tm unifi centre number and it said that my installation will be postponed due to wrong customer details. I've given all my details right when registering. Anyone recognize that number? because when I asked the TM reseller that I went to they said the number is not legit. blink.gif

Just call up the UniFi CS hotline, they will be able to clarify you if it was legit and what went wrong if it is indeed legit.

QUOTE(Mika @ Sep 30 2013, 09:16 PM)
TM now is IPv6 supported start from 27th September 2013, don't know if there anything affect the reliability of the services.... sweat.gif

The usage of Internet has increased tremendously over the past few years. As the number of devices being connected to the Internet increases, the current IP which is the IPv4 is not able to accommodate addresses. IPv6 is the next generation of IP that will replace the current IPv4 and eliminate IP address exhaustion problem.

As the Internet progressively becomes a dual IPv4/IPv6 network, ensuring that users are IPv6-enabled will be critical for retaining universal Internet connectivity. However, IPv4 and IPv6 are two completely separate protocols and do not support each other. Thus, in order to address this issue, TM is implementing dual stack platform.

With the implementation of Dual-Stack platform, TM users will receive both IPv6 and IPv4 addresses. It allows users to simultaneously reach IPv4 and IPv6 content and offers very flexible coexistence strategy to support transition from IPv4 to IPv6. The network will continue to work as per normal with no effect on billing and internet connection.

No.. not really the same.
As I know from my friend, they have all champions league matches.
But some of the EPL matches won't show.
That's why I didn't subscribe at last..

Been facing issues with YouTube , I am suspecting this is to IPV6. I'll disable it and test it out on how it performs on IPV4

Probably the caching server or something

*
5Mbps = 0.625MBps
10Mbps =1.25 MBps
20Mbps =2.5MBps
30Mbps = 3.75MBps
50 Mbps = 6.25MBps
100 Mbps = 12.5MBps

that's the MAX speed u can achieve...normally u will achieve 80% -90% of the advertised speed.
