hi guys,
my BTU is huawei HG655a with dlink DIR 615 wifi router. I think bcos of the setup, lan cable that plug in to DIR 615 can work, but lan cable that plug in to the BTU cant access internet at all. FOr all the Lan ports. Any settings that can enable the Lan on BTU to be use? at least one port? then the rest through the DIR-615. Thanks |

Thanks http://stanleytiang.blogspot.com/2012/08/c...u-as-modem.html If i remember correctly, this breaks IPTV. Also, you will need to configure your DIR615 to DHCP instead of PPPoE for it's WAN (internet input) in order to continue using it as a lan and wifi router. Might also void your BTU lifetime warranty and if you mess up, probably need to pay for reconfiguration. Next best thing is to get an LAN switch/hub if u really need more ports. I've seen some dlink ones at computer shops around rm50 for 4 ports. Good luck! This post has been edited by andrew9292: Dec 2 2013, 01:03 AM |

guys,
just installed unify today.. vip 5 package... hypptv is just awesome.. surfing is superbly fast.. but downloading from ryushare.com is very super slow.. is it due to the tm throttling down the speed?! any chance of bypassing the download throttling?! anyway, i just changed my dns setting on the router to point at google dns but no differences of speed.. |

another Q..
in the wireless router, i could see something like multiple SSID. does that means that i can create and broadcast a multiple said on using single wireless router? let say, i have 5mb, i would want to create another ssid for my guest. and i want to let him use only 1mb. is it possible using the standard devices given by tm? thanks.. |
