Anyone face DNS issue lately?

Several time connected to certain IP or Gateway, DNS doesn't response at all.
Line connected, but cannot surf.

Dsl light not on.. voip red.. internet light blinking... all services down... ampang area

are you connected directly via cable, or Wi-Fi? I am suspecting it might be Wi-Fi problem.

Direct cable and wifi also the same issue...

Seems like possibly the UniFi in your area having issues? Do a speed test, what do you get?

Hi all

Just wanna ask all sifu's opinion on this

I just got my unifi installed, everything was going fine except for 1 thing

1. Connection is ok, game play is smooth
2. But if the PC is left idle, for like 15 mins, then internet will disconnects. Check the adaptor it will say 'no internet is found'

3. However, my other devises like ipad and iphone and my other laptop got wifi connected and be able to surf without any problem.

4. To connect back the PC, i must reboot again.
5. If i sit down for 2 hours playing games, it wont D/C, but only when the PC is left idle.

6. Adaptor settings in my Devise Managers in my PC has uncheck the power-saving mode.
7. I'm currently using W7 Home Premium

Using LAN cable

PC is connected to the modem via LAN cable.

Others are wireless

Got a call from TM, say I can upgrade to VIP10 from my current VIP5, for an extra RM30 per month.

Anyone else take up the offer?

Looks fine. My suspect could be due to routing issues, depending on which range of IP address you get. You may want to try to disconnect & reconnect with new IP range to see if it helps.

try use other speedtest like o okla...unifi's speedtest always show max result...but when i retest using other, then the speed drop ...some nights, i can even get like 7mbps only or even a bit less... even their own technician who came to my fren's house also told him try to use other speed test app...
