when signing up the salesgirl told me only to pay 199 for VIP10.this will including hypptv megapack

got my first bill so i paid rm206.05

second month punya bil read asf:-

HSI charges 199
vobb charges 0.35
IPTV charges 53.23
Miscellaneous 10.02

so i don't get it and call hotline and asking what the heck is IPTV charges 53.23.

after that they open report case then called me back saying that it will takes about 2 billing cycle for the adjustment rm53.23.

So i asked

"then for two month i have to pay/topup another 53.23?"

"Yes. but it will be adjust or refund upon two billing cycle"

"*&)(&*&)*&)*"

That was around last Thursday.

So today i look onto my hypptv screen mentioned :-

HSI charges 199
vobb charges 0.35
IPTV charges 53.23
Miscellaneous 10.02
total outstanding 209.02
adjustment -53.23

I know that i may be freak out and hv an option to pay 199 only. but yea i scared that it will be outstanding amount pulak if the 53.23 tak bayar.

So it worth to double confirm again with the seller/hotline once you ready for this promotional package.

keep calm and pay 199 only at tm kiosk machine .they did not potong u coz 53.23

What i am afraid is if they would put the 53.23 under outstanding amount then lain pula cerita.

the adjustment only being made after i filed a complain. Otherwise have to pay for that one moneyflies.gif

No, you should insist they CHANGE the amount in the system IMMEDIATELY.

why should you pay first and later wait for refund?

what if its not RM53, but RM530, are you going to pay RM530 first and wait and beg for the refund?

I encounter this with astro, extra charge me RM23. I pay the actual amount, ignoring the extra mistake charge of RM23 and made a report to astro. A few days later, Astro place that Rm23 as outstanding, (although knowing the report has been made and its THEIR error), and CUT my astro line.

I straight away call astro and ask them, WHO Authorize to cut my line? and insist they reconnect my line immediately. The operator still have the guts to tell me they are going to charge me RECONNECTION fees. I ask for the supervisor and tell him to do as i say and if not i will go to their board of directors.

The problem lies with them, we should not be penalized or even pay first. I ask the same question to the supervisor, Can i bill your Director RM10,000.00 and he has to pay me first. Then i find out my error, and i will refund his RM10,000 after 1 month or so. If can, i have no problem paying RM23 which you wrongly bill me.


Just for your reference. For me, no such nonsense, pay first and refund later.

As above mentioned feedback, you should ask them to change it immediately as different operator will answer you enquiries each time you call them and their understanding on your situation might varies which could lead to a lot of misunderstanding too.

Best way, drop a complaint email (include your report number) as this could be use as written proof to mention that they wrongly billed you the amount. This is also a valid communication that you can use for future complaint if necessary.

I also hv heard similar this ASTRO similar case before and yes we must be firm about this. dont let the hotline CS telling u " basically this is the procedure i have. u have to pay first then we give waiver or adjusment"

Funny thing is billing department seems did not aware of this so called package VIP10+MEGAPACK.

Insist me to pay at least 2 month/cycle sommore before the do the adjustment.

So many loop hole for me to smash them, rasa macam LCW vs School rep lah pulak. btw feel sorry for those hotline CS them kena maki from me for free.

Money is money dude. I wont pay more that what i have agreed before.

keep thinking that this might be the way of TM to ask customer pay upfront for certain cases.

lesson learned. do double check guys after agree for any package/subscriptions.

Is there any where to know is my wifi connection been hacked? Any software able to detect wifi been hacked?

Just go to the Router's page and look at Mac Address in the Wireless menu under Status (if you are using stock router)... If you see more than one Mac address and if you have only one, which suggests that your wireless network is probably hacked, or otherwise.

BTW, why my torrent speeds seem to stuck at 350KB/s? I'm using Deluge BTW.
Update: oops.gif Apparently I have chosen to limit my download speeds. doh.gif

How many MB connection you are using? What is Deluge?

5Mbps... Though I fixed the issue... laugh.gif
Deluge is pretty nice to work with and it's ad free... I can get nearly 600KB/s without any sort of configuration...

Just upgraded to 10mb connection..and downloads are faster now.

what is the best way to check ur speed? are you getting exact 5mb speed?

Anybody recieved printed or hardcopy of Unifi bill?

My credit card was replace with a new one, and I guess my billing got stuck a couple of months back and I didn't even noticed smile.gif

I was just about to go to tmpoint when suddenly they manage to charge to the new credit card? Hmmm... and then I got the printed bill the following month.

Is this weird?

I'm using Deluge BTW, you should find the settings quite easily if you access the preferences menu. tongue.gif
