got my vip10 today but sadly cannot connect tv-hdmi-hypptv.

got hdmi1 & hdmi2 but both also cannot detect hyyptv signal.

contractor said maybe my tv hdmi port problem but i just dont know.

maybe there is some setting to use hdmi ports?

currently use normal video2 port sad.gif

have tried connect laptop to led tv via hdmi but only blue screen appear on tv..dont know actually what to do between lappy & led tv.

is it something should appear on my lappy screen or tv screen ?

arghh hope that there no issue with my led tv hdmi port.

now feel bit lost coz cannot optimize the use of HD

yeah i think tv problem.

sorry but what does TV HDCP compliant?
As long as LED tv got HDMI port can consider HDCP compliant right?

Alternatively you can plug in any other electronics that have HDCP like Blu-Ray player to check whether it works.
You also can bring your HyppTV and laptop to  your friend's house to test.
The worst that could happen is both HDMI port on your HyppTV and Laptop busted.

the model is Toshiba LED TV 40PB200EM

just bought it early this year.

Right now i am just new in town and yeas sadly no such blu ray device to test on.

2-3 hours lah. depends on where is the fiber cable outside yr house located.

the technician/contractor will call u first before reach yr house.

mine was somewhere behind around 3 house away. So the tech arrange for the wiring then drill hole at my kitchen wall.

after that u can use internet right away.

I was told before by UNIFI agent that easiest way/trick is

1.asking to transfer yr account to new address
2. then new address go no UNIFI , right?it is legit since sandakan no unifi yet
3. UNIFI/TM will not charge penalty if new address got no service.

when signing up the salesgirl told me only to pay 199 for VIP10.this will including hypptv megapack

got my first bill so i paid rm206.05

second month punya bil read asf:-

HSI charges 199
vobb charges 0.35
IPTV charges 53.23
Miscellaneous 10.02

so i don't get it and call hotline and asking what the heck is IPTV charges 53.23.

after that they open report case then called me back saying that it will takes about 2 billing cycle for the adjustment rm53.23.

So i asked

"then for two month i have to pay/topup another 53.23?"

"Yes. but it will be adjust or refund upon two billing cycle"

That was around last Thursday.

So today i look onto my hypptv screen mentioned :-

HSI charges 199
vobb charges 0.35
IPTV charges 53.23
Miscellaneous 10.02
total outstanding 209.02
adjustment -53.23

I know that i may be freak out and hv an option to pay 199 only. but yea i scared that it will be outstanding amount pulak if the 53.23 tak bayar.

So it worth to double confirm again with the seller/hotline once you ready for this promotional package.

What i am afraid is if they would put the 53.23 under outstanding amount then lain pula cerita.

the adjustment only being made after i filed a complain. Otherwise have to pay for that one moneyflies.gif

Then i find out my error, and i will refund his RM10,000 after 1 month or so. If can, i have no problem paying RM23 which you wrongly bill me.
Just for your reference. For me, no such nonsense, pay first and refund later.

I also hv heard similar this ASTRO similar case before and yes we must be firm about this. dont let the hotline CS telling u " basically this is the procedure i have. u have to pay first then we give waiver or adjusment"

Funny thing is billing department seems did not aware of this so called package VIP10+MEGAPACK.

Insist me to pay at least 2 month/cycle sommore before the do the adjustment.

So many loop hole for me to smash them, rasa macam LCW vs School rep lah pulak. btw feel sorry for those hotline CS them kena maki from me for free.

Money is money dude. I wont pay more that what i have agreed before.

keep thinking that this might be the way of TM to ask customer pay upfront for certain cases.

lesson learned. do double check guys after agree for any package/subscriptions.
