Inside got 1 piece of 560mH inductor, that one is the crucial part.

I opened before and changed the wire inside.

Bro, what is X-over ? Is it crossover ?

After you change the wired got any improvement ?

yup, is crossover.

The improvement is same as you change the signal cable, the midrange more fuller now...i used the same cable as signal cable..RM15/meter.

Just a soldering iron will do the job...but quite difficult for newbie, because the cable was glued, so to pull it out while melt it with soldering iron is quite challenging. but the trace is wide enough, won't spoil easily...

Not much to mod actually...maybe will change the high pass capacitor for the tweeter later, still finds the good cap now...about the inductor, quite difficult to find the smaller one that can fit inside the satellite.

I can't wait so i modded it last night. not a major mod though, i only got a chance to change the X-over caps and the amp power supply cap.
results:
have not fully burn-in yet, think it'll be even better after burn-in period.
Tweeter sounds less “ear hurting” and more accurate response.
Midrange, slight improvement. i think i can live with it. whistling.gif

i thought bout changing the opamps but I don’t want to take the chances of destroying the board since I don’t have the proper de-soldering equipment. so i decided to chance my sound card opamp instead biggrin.gif maybe getting the LME49720NA.
