QUOTE(isAb3lle @ Sep 21 2017, 07:45 PM) Hi guys, I’m looking for car dashcam with budget around RM200-300. Have been looking on taobao and found a few that seems quite nice: ddpai, 360, and xiaoyi. But not sure which is actually better or are there better ones out there in the market... Recently did some research on models <300, & non-sticky tape type, seems like the Mijia dashcam seems to fit that 2 criteria while being a reputable brand.Recommendations are welcomed. 😁 Thanks!!! Personally I use G1W (since 2014), unfortunately the plastic screen cover warped in the heat one day. |

QUOTE(azrudin99 @ Sep 21 2017, 08:09 PM) For me I do some research before buying. At first my budget same as you 200+300. At last buy viofo A119. Today is first day using. After 3 to 4 hour test to play the video quality using my computer, wow the video quality really impressed me. Now keeping budget for second A119 for my other cars. U can find other member here reviews a lot of car dashcam. Go to jwtechreview.com. U can find more info there. Good luck I see, thanks for the website link! I guess I gotta search harder and look around for the best choice Most of the time, I’m just afraid that it won’t be able to last long, especially when I am going to park my car outdoor when I am at office for the whole day. |

Yeah, I did see mijia dashcam on taobao too. But it seems to be quite similar to xiaoyi. That’s why I’m having a difficult time distinguishing their differences and making my choice.Personally I use G1W (since 2014), unfortunately the plastic screen cover warped in the heat one day. Geez, the warping of plastic screen cover is exactly what I’m afraid of, when my car is parked outdoor during office hour. Thanks for the info yea! |

I believe both company are similar, but they split up or some shit.Geez, the warping of plastic screen cover is exactly what I’m afraid of, when my car is parked outdoor during office hour. Thanks for the info yea! As for parking outdoors whole day, it would still be better to remove the dashcam during those 8hours, at least for safety, peace of mind, and longevity of the device. |

That's why now Xiaomi have Mijia brand with its IP home cam, dashcam, action cam, etc... Taking the dashcam out will be good for those dashcam using a lithium battery, but just scared the mount will get loose long-term... or maybe dashcam's small capacity battery not able to trigger alarm, or maybe the level detection reading allow them to differentiate if it is smartphone, powerbank, dashcam or laptop inside cabin |

Hi,
I would like to install 2 channel dashcam for my Honda Jazz. I've been reading a lot of good recommendation of Thinkware F770 and they are running promotion at RM1699 now. I wonder if this is really a good deal and is there any disadvantage for this cam? Should i get this?? Please give me some advice |
