Today my Viofo A119/A119S V2 GPS conversion kit just arrived...
Managed to convince the gf to use the yi cam. The problem now is the app is available for China App Store only (I'm using iOS). Tried downloading it and it requires China mobile number to register. So it is practically app-less now. And it supports Chinese language only.Managed to connect to wifi. Seems pretty cool. It has music store, maps (not supported outside China), video recording, FM frequency function to connect to car radio, phone function. The screen is damn big and clear. If you have a car without those digital Bluetooth thing and all, it's going to make your car feels like one. LOL! Will ask my gf to use it for awhile on her car.
Anyway is there any tutorials out there for hardwire to car battery? My DDPai comes with hardwire kit. But I am thinking whether to DIY or send outside to fix. Any recommendations?

Opened up the A pillar to? Anywhere got guide on how to open it?
Depending on the car but usual is pull the rubber lining then slowly pull open the A pillar cover. Some A pillar cover has a screw you need to open first and usually it's under the SRS Airbag cover on the A pillar cover.

If you worry, just let the cable pass through the upper edge of A pillar, that avoid opening up the whole A pillar cover. You can then let the cable travel along the rubber lining all the way down to the bottom and then route it through the back/bottom of glove box. Very easy, I have done it for both Honda Jazz and Nissan Almera.
