i just charged my Lumia 1020 to 80% ytd night (about 12am) and the battery level dropped to only 11% this morning (about 11am). any sifu having problem with the battery durability? i admit i have enabled glance in peek mode but i dont think the battery should drain so fast right?

all connection include bluetooth, NFC (tap+send in settings), WIFI should turn off to safe battery.

If you first time charging the phone, should let the battery had few more charge cycle before battery reach its optimum performance.

QUOTE(accs_centre @ Sep 30 2013, 04:35 PM)
i think it is normal for every camera.. the picture quality we see on the screen is different than the photo taken and saved..

So we have to take out from Phone to PC then only can see the true result?

I did upload to Skydrive but recently didn't open home PC to check, haha ..

You can try HD Photo Viewer apps to see the true quality of photo on your phone.

@fantasy1989 can add this HD Photo Viewer at front? Forget to add this. doh.gif

Think no one answered one of my question, will the matte body of Lumia 1020 easily get scratch ?

Cause the camera grip top there if want to take out, I can feel like it's scratching it >.<

Or other hard casing like Nilkin.

im not going to test how strong is the phone body laugh.gif
but not to worry, the phone's body usually can withstand those minor/light scratches smile.gif

Saturday and Sunday drained the battery till phone says "Goodbye" around 3 times. Anyway, battery report.

8am = 100%
5pm = 70%

Glance mode - Peek
Double Tap - On
Background task running - Bloomberg, Battery Pro+, Wechat and Whatsapp. Others are all blocked.

First half of the day was on flight mode.
Second half was on mobile data (H+) with Bluetooth and Wifi off.

But then, didn't really do much with the phone. A bit of checking Bloomberg and mail only. Most of the time it was on the table beside my PC. Tested out Pro Cam a bit as well (3 or 4 shots only).

I think Glance mode won't drain too much battery if it isn't triggered all the time.

roughly testing.......and sorry i find out just now tis is 5mp photo, not 34mp, i cant find 34mp photo at my phone, only can see at pro camera app??
Connect the phone to your PC, browse through Windows Explorer to it (after it finishes installing the drivers) you'll find a Pictures folder, then Camera Roll, all your pictures taken with 36+5 will have another picture called WP_XXXXXX_hires.jpg those are the actual 36MP shots.

I wonder with Pro Cam in 1020 , 34MP should have a wider view than 5MP ( zoom out ) . After compare 34MP with Pro Cam, more or less the same result with 5MP . Just 34MP can zoom in more, but not zoom out . Here I have link demo video about what I mean zoom out for 34MP .

It's always zoom in, just that if you were taking the shot in Pro Cam and you zoomed in while framing the shot Pro Cam will actually save the whole picture so you can reframe by zooming out later.

One thing to take note on the 1020 screen is, it was a 2.5D gorilla 3 curve screen, so SP always had problem to fit at the edge of the screen.
