The cam grip has an external battery on it. if it wasn't bundled together, would still have bought the grip for its battery and also to stabilize the hand while taking shots.

The phones still need to be sent to the processing center first before being delivered to their intended address (correct me if I am wrong here). So maybe when they said deliver, they meant already collected by the courier company?

Storekini called yesterday to ask if I want to pick up and was told that if opt for delivery, should receive by Monday.

Encountered the courier truck on the way out this morning to the wet market. Driver parked by the roadside to rearrange the delivery slips according to area. Pulled over and asked the driver if my parcel is there.

Finally got my yellow Lumia 1020. Time to retire my 8250 Butterfly. XD

1020 has a "no need to physically touch the screen" feature? Was able to launch apps or click links without actually touching the screen. Just need to put finger close enough to the screen and the app/link will click.

And also when u swipe to the left and will see a bunch of our app, why we can only use the magnifier instead of using the alphabetic to search?

If you click on the alphabet tile, it will bring up the list of alphabets that you want to jump to. If that's what you were referring to.

Battery Pro+, Nokia Connectivity Suite, Sysapp Pusher and Shrink Storage IMO would be some must haves.

Connect your phone to the PC and copy the song file into the ringtone folder. Now can use your songs as ringtones.

Saturday and Sunday drained the battery till phone says "Goodbye" around 3 times. Anyway, battery report.

8am = 100%
5pm = 70%

Glance mode - Peek
Double Tap - On
Background task running - Bloomberg, Battery Pro+, Wechat and Whatsapp. Others are all blocked.

First half of the day was on flight mode.
Second half was on mobile data (H+) with Bluetooth and Wifi off.

But then, didn't really do much with the phone. A bit of checking Bloomberg and mail only. Most of the time it was on the table beside my PC. Tested out Pro Cam a bit as well (3 or 4 shots only).

I think Glance mode won't drain too much battery if it isn't triggered all the time.

Not sure if this helps. Look under second part of "To change your Microsoft account, follow these steps:"

Did not touch my phone the whole day at work.

Battery saver on (I think this only kicks in when low battery levels, so not really needed if there's full charge, right?)
Wifi and Data Plan off (or flight mode on also can)
Background tasks disabled for some apps
Glance on Peek setting

Used data plan during lunch just to update bloomberg app and RSS feeds only. Switched off data plan after that.
