Remaining 3 Nokia Pro Cam Tutorial: Why the essentials apps list still had Lumia Pusher that no longer published? Also takdrak intagram apps inside the list. |

QUOTE(arbelnox @ Sep 20 2013, 04:49 PM) But then, many people still think that Galaxy Gear is more useful than camera grip, so... just let them enjoy their galaxy Gear then. I rather have Pebble as smart watch... BUT it doesn't support Windows Phone. So another weakness of Windows Phone, no other accessories partner aside Nokia's partner. ![]() Maybe soon will had in the future? http://www.ctechcn.com/nokia-watch-leak/ |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Sep 25 2013, 12:02 AM) They will be merging it, right? So it's slated sometime in the future, but not too soon. http://pureviewclub.com/2013/17591Also, Glance feature does not work when you're using the camera grip. The extended battery on that makes the "Peek" feature unavailable, and turns it into always on instead. The camera grip with battery also means you CANT turn off your 1020, it will act just like when you are connecting the 1020 to a power source. Turn it off and watch it turn back on again. This was a holdover "glitch" brought back from the days of 920. There is some rumour flowing out that Nokia will soon merge both Nokia Pro Cam and Nokia Smart Cam into one apps called Nokia Camera, rumours also say that Lumia 1520 is the first phone will enjoy this apps. That external battery will make lumia phone in charging mode, the glance screen will always on to display battery status. I would say is Some kind of glitch for lumia phone. |

QUOTE(ikram_p @ Sep 29 2013, 08:40 PM) never own a windows phones before, this is my first. love it a lot, i wonder if i have not found the setting, or the function isn't there. the smart cam doesn't have any flash or it doesn't have any exposure setting when the lighting is bad right, music does not have any equalizer or to adjust playback function, there is no way to put your song as ringtone Smart Cam use 10 frame burst, so don't allow you to meddle the camera settings to avoid affecting the image quality. But i notice it under different light condition it will automatically adjust ISO (till ISO 3200) and shutter speed for the optimum image quality.AFAIK, X-box music don't had equalizer for you to adjust, but at settings>audio, it allows you to set equalizer for earphone usage. Ringtone, either connect it to your computer and put mp3 to the ringtone folder on your phone (had time limit/file size limit). Or use Nokia Ringtone Maker (@fantasy1989 had put the link for it at Essential apps section), to rip out the ringtone from the mp3 song (1 minute maximum duration). |

QUOTE(Andy214 @ Sep 30 2013, 01:19 AM) How fast can you launch the camera app? Can you leave the camera app when you lock the phone, and when you unlock the phone you're back at the camera app ready to capture photo immediately? Yes.One of the good feature of the 808 is the ability to launch camera very quickly by pressing the dedicated camera button, and if the camera app is not closed when the phone it locked, once you unlock the phone, the camera app is ready immediately. Lumia Phone had settings that allow you to immediately wakeup/unlock the phone and open camera apps by holding the camera button for 4sec. It also allows you to set other camera apps (Nokia Pro Cam, for example) as default camera apps when you open camera apps on your phone. QUOTE(mengfui @ Sep 30 2013, 07:21 AM) fantasy1989, bila mau update Lumia 1020 owner list. |

QUOTE(santaclaus92 @ Sep 30 2013, 04:34 PM) i just charged my Lumia 1020 to 80% ytd night (about 12am) and the battery level dropped to only 11% this morning (about 11am). any sifu having problem with the battery durability? i admit i have enabled glance in peek mode but i dont think the battery should drain so fast right? all connection include bluetooth, NFC (tap+send in settings), WIFI should turn off to safe battery. If you first time charging the phone, should let the battery had few more charge cycle before battery reach its optimum performance. QUOTE(accs_centre @ Sep 30 2013, 04:35 PM) i think it is normal for every camera.. the picture quality we see on the screen is different than the photo taken and saved.. QUOTE(TongCN @ Sep 30 2013, 04:50 PM) So we have to take out from Phone to PC then only can see the true result? You can try HD Photo Viewer apps to see the true quality of photo on your phone.I did upload to Skydrive but recently didn't open home PC to check, haha .. @fantasy1989 can add this HD Photo Viewer at front? Forget to add this. |

If viewing the photo from pc, the file name with _Pro_HighRes.jpg is 34MP version while _Pro.jpg is 5MB version.
34MP don't had thumbnail display on your PC. http://www.wpcentral.com/weeding-out-nokia...high-res-images p/s, any photo shot with Nokia Pro Cam will had file name ended with _Pro.jpg, default WP8 camera apps don't had, just date /time on the file name. |

After few update, the apps on WP8 become quite stable now. Just that if your line connection is bad, it will had notification delay. But like new whatapps owner on IOS, whatapps on WP8 only allow you free trial for one year, after that 0.99 USD per year fees. QUOTE(yuan415 @ Oct 2 2013, 11:21 AM) No ideal one, ISO is how sensitive your camera's sensor to incoming light,Under low light condition, you take photo with: High ISO, allows the camera to take picture with correct light exposure under fast shuttle speed (fast shuttle speed -> less chance of blur due to handshaking), but high ISO will resulting electrical noice amplified on your picture. Low ISO, camera need to had longer shutter speed to get correct exposure, but long shutter speed will had higher chance photo get blurred due to hand-shaking (so use tripod to compensate it), but less noise on your picture. so low light not just ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation you need to take note of, check Nokia Pro Cam tutorial for more info on those parameter. waiting s7ran9er to correct my statement, me still newbie in camera parameter. |
