my XZL also seems having a black dot issue~

Hey guys, I'm planning to get xperia z now. With z1 just only released and retailed at 2399, will price for xperia z drop? Or will it maintain at retail 1999?

Just wanna share some of my thoughts, after using CM10.1 vs Stock with my xzl.
Performance: Definitely faster, hands on or using benchmark
Feature : I lost the bravia engine feature but not missed it at all cause it's doesn't look very nice in my eyes. And believe me it does consume more battery.The radio also not working in CM10.1

However the biggest reason I am using CM10 it's because of the awesome camera apps, HDR, Iso control, Shutter Speed control. And the HDR mode is much better than stock Auto mode which produce lot of noise.


Again, unlocked the bootloader might had void my warranty, it's the price I willing to pay .

Beware when they want to open ur phone n replace camera module....mine after replace camera, it not waterproof anymore...water can go through backplate....now my phone cant use anymore...

Better do testing in front of them before u take it after repair

Now itself u can get it at garage sales section( search directd or satu gadget) for rm17xx

I thought can get 1:1 replacement if stil under warranty?

Those who r using monxdified rom, do u have an issue when using sweep panorama faeture? Mine has this problem where the sweep indicator didnt move when i sweep, but the image was process no problem. Any idea on how to fix this?

If I manage to get 1:1 replacement from the warranty, would u be willing to buy the new XPZ set from me?

It has already been sold around rm1700 plus by some even before the the z1 price has been announced. Cheapest I can find bout a week ago is rm1719 for black. Waiting for it to drop further, just don't know when.

Just got back my xz from sony sc after admitted for nearly a month due to black dots on camera. Sent my xz to Ixsun Sdn. Bhd. (Ipoh) on 20/8 and the staff there told me that for xz, they going to courier it to their HQ in KL for the repairing works. Promised me that will get back my phone within a week and on the first week, called them to check the status of my xz and was told that their system went down for days already. Waited until weeks no 2, called them again and was told my xz was not in their system (wtf), ask me to wait for their call. Third weeks, still no reply from the sc cannot tahan already straight call sony mobile customer service, complained kaw kaw and the next day they reply that my phone will be ready on 13/9. On 13/9, still no news no nothing called sc again and was told that my xz not ready yet . 16/9 called sony mobile customer service again and was told that my xz was on courier back to ipoh and collected my xz on 17/9 with new scar and scratches . So think twice before sending your xz to sc

Check your batch no.. mostly earlier batch will suffer from this defect. Btw mine is 09w13

on your phone's bottom, together with imei no.

mine took 3 weeks for repair + part missing on that phone....how great their SC + for that part missing is not their fault....their suspect me already repair that phone outside shop......

New firmware updates coming. Anyone received the notification already?
