QUOTE(ChuanHong @ Sep 11 2013, 11:38 AM) I'm using it.. Launcher is nothing related with speaker and battery. Somemore is estimated battery life.. I wonder why everybody like to see longer ESTIMATED battery life. Yup, even my estimated was 2days something. I dun really care as i doesn't mean anything much. |

QUOTE(joshua963 @ Sep 24 2013, 10:37 AM) Unfortunately Sony haven't quite nailed it yet on the post processing for our device. It's a sad truth but personally I feel my previous S3 took somewhat better pics. But somehow i prefer this post processibg image when taking pic if people, the skin looks smooth U might wanna try camera zoom fx(paid) or camera ICS. |

QUOTE(serez @ Sep 24 2013, 11:18 AM) a question guys. if we update to new firmware, will it erase all settings / information / apps on current firmware? is it like going to fresh format it or will it keep existing settings? No but it is advisable to do a factory reset after updating especially for major update. |

Those who have updated to latest update, did it solved the screen flickering issue when in highest brightness setting? I mean the backlit vibrating issue.

QUOTE(vickyrao @ Sep 21 2013, 12:44 AM) Hi bro.... i had the same exact issue as you but not the water spot on camera though... but my device became unusable as water went in... sent for warranty and they fixed it without any charges. i sent via Curve.... but i suggest you go direct to berjaya there and get it fixed... much more faster.... and service is great.... and they changed my entire frame and i also told them i had screen issues as flickering and they changed a brand new screen for me.. just like that... so go ahead and send it over... as long as warranty is there... then you have nothing to worry about. Bro,before u sent for warranty, did u ever root n flash any custom rom? If u did, did u unroot it before sending to them? Also regarding the flickering screen, does the problem still exist after they replace the new screen? Im thinking of sending mine as well, but myb when 2-3months left on the warranty then only i'll send it. Btw our warranty is 1 year only right?mine... water leaked in via headphone jack and sim card slot... two ports which i never ever used.... usb port... nothing happen... the sticker didnt change color... so weird... |

QUOTE(ChuanHong @ Sep 24 2013, 12:59 PM) xperia phone camera is more consider about users consume efficiency.. its really overcompressed the picture to lower size and reduce the picture quality from sharpness.. but it's more easy for user to share the photo to social link like fb,twitter... What rom r using right bro? Or r u using stock rom? Demm la, update after update but yet the screen vibrating backlit still exis. Im wonder is this really software or hardware issue.its actually dpend on user.. those wish to wash photo into hardcopy might need some professional camera or other smartphone. Sony is more focusiing on connecting to social and entertainment, eay for our life. will not erase the settings/app/data if u not choose to FFULL ERASE.. |

QUOTE(vickyrao @ Sep 25 2013, 09:36 AM) well no... i have no reason to root and use custom ROM cause i am extremely happy with this phone. the 2Gb RAM is awesome and i can use the phone the entire day without issues. unlike my htc one x, s3, s2 and etc. do u find the new replaced screen is better or just the same quality panel like before they replaced it? i kinda of hoping when i send my phone for warranty myb in december or january nex year, they will replaced it with a better screen panel so i was completely on stock. as for the screen, no more flickering. its great. no issues. yes its one year only. anyway, when u face the flickering issue, does it happen when brightness level is set to the highest? or 60% and above, like my case, really obvious when set to the highest brightness, especially with white background screen, can see the screen kinda vibrating. demm annoying, |

QUOTE(ChuanHong @ Sep 25 2013, 12:47 PM) still didnt notice screen flickering after update to latest firmware.. how about u? i might needto observe it for more days.. but these 2 days still didnt notice it even 100% brightness.. Still hvent update mine yet, and regarding the screen flickering on my phone, it is like an on n Off problem to me, there r Times when no screen flickering at all at highest brightness level, but then sumtime it appears. Really crazy la like this. Wana send for warranty also uncertain if the condition is like this. |

QUOTE(droidtrix @ Sep 25 2013, 03:33 PM) Nova launcher, minimalistic text, slider widget, media utilities and desktop visualizer.im using mostly zooper widget. the calendar, weather are zooper. the wording e.g xperia z, vaio, sony and walkman are all zoopers, just use the correct fonts for each word. and since nova launcher is a 3rd party launcher, thus i unable to use walkman widget, therefore i create one by combining media utilities and zooper. |

QUOTE(jeff10012003 @ Sep 25 2013, 04:04 PM) still, you designed it to the point that people would actually wonder can XZ pull this mods off without lag. honestly speaking, wit all that, not a single lag i can feel. seriously. but i believe there are few factors that contribute to the no lag experience. the first factor is 2gb ram. believe me this ram is plenty. i still have 600++mb ram left. secondly nova launcher is very well manage memory app. cause it is really buttery smooth when i used it. third it could be because im on monx custom rom, myb the developer make a well optimize memory with the rom.my design not really original, credit to xda forum, i got a lot of ideas from there, but demm most of them really creative. |

QUOTE(sidewinder_x5 @ Oct 5 2013, 09:12 PM) lte version doesnt have 1700mhz 3g band which i will need as im going to relocate to the US next year for uni. there, tmobile got deal, unlimited talk/sms/data at 42mbps speed for $30 Why dont u buy it there then? Myb can bundle with the phone free on contract. Btw i really envy the internet speed overseas, their hsdpa plus speed is way higher than our lte offering speed. The highest hsdp+ speed i ever reached here is 14mbps. Celcom. Network |
