Just wanna share some of my thoughts, after using CM10.1 vs Stock with my xzl.
Performance: Definitely faster, hands on or using benchmark
Feature : I lost the bravia engine feature but not missed it at all cause it's doesn't look very nice in my eyes. And believe me it does consume more battery.The radio also not working in CM10.1

However the biggest reason I am using CM10 it's because of the awesome camera apps, HDR, Iso control, Shutter Speed control. And the HDR mode is much better than stock Auto mode which produce lot of noise.


Again, unlocked the bootloader might had void my warranty, it's the price I willing to pay .

Common sense right? Smaller screen consume less energy. And we do not own every phone to get first hand experience but from lot of sources, for e.g. LYN
