the lack of a second hand is also to do with the infamous second hand stutter of the miyota 8215...so no second hand = no problem.

True, it will be great if its on miyota 9015. I wonder how much 9015 cost as 8215 cost like usd$54.

Was at the gf's place and came across this resting in her little box of watches:

I gave this to her some years back. Way back in 1999, my parents gave it to me as my first 'proper' watch - redeemed with American Express credit card points laugh.gif Hour and minute hands are fixed in that position, and the hour and minute markers rotate. Certainly an interesting watch during that time.

Its never confused me, although I have had plenty of friends who gave up trying to read the time. The time on that watch simply reads 10:22 - hours and minute hand point of their respective markers.

I think once you figure it out, it cannot be unseen wink.gif

Hey guys. Trying to get some opinions here about Luminox. I've read reviews about Luminox which they have some QC issues lately. I'm eyeing on the Colormark series which comes with carbon or steel case. I'm wondering which kind of material would last better. I don't mind heavy watches, in fact I like it. It gives a more quality feels. What about chronographs? I don't really use it but it make the watch look much featured. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance. smile.gif

This is a DANGEROUS watch, imagine you put it on a pilot/astronaut hands! Destroy it, before it fall to the evils hand.
Let me carry it to the volcano.

I own a Luminox 3051 Blackout Edition.
Yes, they have some QC problem. The one I bought have loose bezel.
I only discovered after two weeks.
Tried to get replacement but no avail.
I went to the extent of going to Tribunal Pengguna.

They repaired my watch and gave me two months extension warranty.

if you want to buy, make sure the bezel is tight.

So the story about the warranty is true.
Have to complain sampai tribunal pengguna.
I was thinking of buying from Davis, seller in this forum.
Is the carbon really light as it feels cheap?

Wondering if anyone is interested in a PAM 359 pre-loved... thinking about letting it go to finance something else I've been looking at. It's been mostly spending time making friends with the inside of a winder/box.

I'm open to (reasonable) offers. If offers are too far below what I consider reasonable, I'll just go ahead with my other purchase and keep the PAM anyway tongue.gif

I "believe" market price is currently hovering between 22-25 for this right now (correct me if I'm wrong).

Hi, does anyone have any experience with Tat Seng watch in Amcorp Mall? They've got quite a few used Rolexes for sale but just wanted to make sure that they are reputable before taking the plunge! I've tried googling them but nothing has turned up besides their official site..which is quite worrying in this day and age hahahhaa

Thanks! smile.gif

Ah... ok... thanks for the price ranges. So yeah, offers of around that price will be considered. Condition is immaculate; worn once, crime reports started getting more common, I started getting more paranoid... and now trying to find a new home for it to finance a different watch to keep my box and winder company.
