Itch is coming again... but this time it's for a G-Shock. I haven't done much digging on RC watches... any idea about reception/calibration in KL? Or what kind of max distance from the station can be expected (example: would the German station be in range from Netherlands).

Meh... sounds like not worth getting an RC then. GPS based ones are too pricey... and the ones I've seen look like arse. Good excuse to not buy anything I guess...

Wow... a Citizen mechanical... now that's something you don't see every day.
About the PAMs, can't say much. Only ones I ever considered were for flipping. Acquired taste I guess...

Quite sure that warranty only covers movement failures or manufacturing defects. You'll probably need to pay for servicing and cleaning/polishing.

Wondering if anyone is interested in a PAM 359 pre-loved... thinking about letting it go to finance something else I've been looking at. It's been mostly spending time making friends with the inside of a winder/box.

I'm open to (reasonable) offers. If offers are too far below what I consider reasonable, I'll just go ahead with my other purchase and keep the PAM anyway I "believe" market price is currently hovering between 22-25 for this right now (correct me if I'm wrong). Attached thumbnail(s)

Ah... ok... thanks for the price ranges. So yeah, offers of around that price will be considered. Condition is immaculate; worn once, crime reports started getting more common, I started getting more paranoid... and now trying to find a new home for it to finance a different watch to keep my box and winder company.

Makes me think of a Perodua Kancil with Bugatti emblem on the front and rear.

QUOTE(iamWill @ Sep 26 2013, 02:13 PM) Hi, I'm new to this thread. Does anyone know where to change old model jaeger's battery in kl? What do you guys think about orient sun & moon watch et0p003w watch? I saw an advertisement in the star last week ~1100 rm I'm a big fan of blue hands... but not on a cream face IMO.

Doesn't matter if people think it's fake or not... if someone is robbing you, I think they'll take first and wonder if it's fake later. Better to be safe than sorry... now I only wear my army of daily beaters most of the time

QUOTE(lisahasan @ Sep 29 2013, 12:13 AM) New info. My friend said, he bought that tag heuer watch at lowyat watch shop. The the watch currently lari means lambat 7minutes. He bought just last 2weeks if im not wrong. Does lowyat watch shop sell tag heuer? Then after bought 2weeks the timing lari. He said lari maybe because of his friends playing along with his watch and maybe twiss the small thing on the right. If im mistaken, automatic watch not easy to adjust since they have lock. U need to twiss and then pull the lock theb u can adjust. If no one knows bout the automatic watch it wont be easy. Unless fake watch can easly adjust by twiss the small thing I think there's only 1 shop in Low Yat selling watches... but I can't remember if they carry Tag. 7 minutes in ~2 weeks is pretty bad for any watch unless it ran out of power and nobody noticed... and then started working again when the owner put it on. Sounds like you are talking about screw down crown... which isn't an automatic only feature. I think they're fairly common on anything that has a water resist rating of 200m or more.

Depends on if you want to go branded... if yes, then you can probably pick up a reasonable looking Seiko/Orient/Citizen (probably SNZG and aftermarket leather). Don't mind non branded? The China made watches/movement combos are pretty decent looking nowadays.

Pretty sure you can get the SNZG/SNK range for about that price (not inclusive leather strap to make it look dressy).

I think most of the SNZG/SNK series goes pretty decent with leather... that's why I mentioned leather. Obviously if you buy a G-shock and put leather on it, people will look at you funny.

Pretty sure efficiency will be better in Paris/Amsterdam... although I've only done VAT refunds in Amsterdam. Still takes awhile to get your money back though...

SS or PVD Nighthawk? I got a PVD because I was thinking about resale value and have been regretting it ever since (esp whenever I see an SS version) Also, my brain is hardwired to look funny at a Quartz above ~2k. Can't justify it to my brain This post has been edited by biatch0: Oct 11 2013, 12:20 PM
