Haiz, another fund which set the non-bumi's aside again..

The hard-feelings that i have is so hard to describe.. can only try over the counter and most of the time ended up with zero, while the bumi can deposit their money into the account at any time..
There are ways around this. You just have to be smart enough to think out of the box instead of complain that nothing can be done. Where there's a will, there will always be a way. biggrin.gif

I agreed with that. everytime when the dividend for the ASB is credited, you will see many of those people go and withdraw the dividend..

The sad thing is most of the people withdrawing the dividend i believe is for the purpose because many of them that i see are still working, got employment income, then still go withdraw the dividend.. So you know what they are up to... nod.gif

Yape, it applies to all race, but everytime when the dividend for the ASM or ASW2020 as well as AS1M is declared, you will seldom see those non-bumi go and withdraw their money..

After my ongoing observation over the years, this has been very obvious.. rclxms.gif

Sometimes it also depend on family "background". Some people from kid already being "brainwash" by their parents on the needs of saving, investment & business. When they grow-up, the "all their life brainwash by parents" won't "disappear" just like that. It's sometimes also go to their own child thus the cycle begins nod.gif

When u can put in or withdraw your funds easily like ASB there is a tendency to spend off your income/dividend. Whereas if it is shxting difficult to even buy funds like ASM/AS1M/ASW u tend to treasure it because it is so difficult to buy back.

I think I should donate my completed ASNB purchase forms to our museum now.

Why?

After so many trips, none has been used for the past few weeks!

The Post Office lady was helpful this afternoon trying to get some for me but none was available.

That is life, some get it and some don't. Ha.

I am no sifu, but would like to share my understandings... All sifu here, do correct me if I my understanding is wrong.  icon_rolleyes.gif
1) The 7.3 is the Net Distribution per unit (sen). For variable price fund, we should look at the returns, in this case it is 10.67% for 2013. This returns is net after all charges. Refer to this link.
2) Refer HERE for their daily prices.
3) My understanding is the mgmt fee are charged and taken into account during distribution calculation. Normally lower unit price after distribution.

Thanks tbheng, wil-i-am and davinz18. notworthy.gif Today went to open ASG persaraan and kesihatan. The unit price is so high, really 'rugi'. rclxub.gif sweat.gif Hopefully, the price will go higher and I don't lose out. The lady said that the dividend will be in early April. Got a free bag.

For information, tried to open AS1M and ASM accounts, but none will let me open. Say no units

Where did you go? ASNB HQ or agents?
They didn't event process your request or they actually process and inform no available units?
It is a laptop backpack, right? thumbup.gif
I'll report back after 1 month of my ASG holdings. ASG-Kesihatan seems outperform the other 2 siblings. tongue.gif

HQ. They didn't want to process or check at all. Told me that its full already although I was the only non-bumiputra there. Its a backpack. Regret not spreading some of the $ to the pendidikan. Should have all 3 funds since who knows in the long term, which fund will outperform which.

I don't what to say to the staff. Another attitude I don't like is when even we got the passbook, they straightaway say no units available without even "trying". in my mind wanna "slap" only the staff sad.gif

sorry late to inform you. Because the price will be much lower when the dividend given out. However, the 5% charges is back. Thus, is consider ok if you bank in now.

Yes, Kesihatan have the good growth. Because its equity.
