today is not my lucky day. was not able to topup for AS1M and the post office is not willing to allow me to open new account for ASW2020. He said i can only try if there is additional fund subscription. sigh....
*
There is no need to feel frustrated and disappointed..

For me, i have also come across so many times officers tell me can only open the account when there is additional units for subscription..

Its already becoming a norm.. blush.gif

cannot la. sien. totally no mood today. but still waiting. Line still off.

go to PM, damn that lazy bump say no dana cannot open account. I say, encik, boleh cuba buka tak, cuba sekalai sahaja. I ask becasue i am 100% sure i able to open an acc today. He don't want macam mana beg also don't want.

than i go try my luck in MBB, same happen, than i change strategy which is low % to get account open. I say, cik tolong update bagi buku ini, which is my sis. Than i say, kalau boleh, cuba masuk seberapa yang boleh asalkan tidak melebihi 1000. thn she try try try. manage to got in 400 and 400, thn tell me system offline. I i say thank you, than i purposely ask the same question. And say kalau buku lain boleh top up, maknanya buka account baru pun bolehkan kalau try. thn she say yes. thn i say again, ala.. terlepas pula peluang saya nak buka. Boleh cuba sekarang. Than only she say help me open. Write all form, hand to her, wait there for 1 hours, than she call me go back wait her call.

Actually i felt happy regarding this, but, seeing the time now. I just went sigh.

As i thought..really no chance to open the account.. dont know when will they open additional units for sale for this ASW2020..

Anyway, i am not putting so much hope on it..

Dear All,

Just for your information, i went to a ASNB branch this morning for my intention to try to open the account for ASW2020..

Well, I am quite disappointed but at least satisfied with their feedback towards my question..

At first, I asked them is it possible for me (chinese) to open the ASW2020 account, he responded to me that it is impossible..

Because he mentioned that, if he opens an account for me, and the initial deposit RM100 cannot be banked-in, he would have to write a memo to ASNB Office in KL to terminate the account.. He mentioned that it is a risk and hassle so he could not proceed.. Anyway, after that i tried to bank in into my AS1M, but unfortunately, no units available for the chinese..

However, he informed me that once you have the account, if would be easy because you could try and bank in.. If no quota, then can try again next time..

From his feedback, as i understood, unless the officers are very helpful to take the hassle, then they could help us to open the account.

Anyway, I am glad with his feedback which is more straight forward and honest compared to the feedback to i normally received from the banks.

The staff very good. Not everyone would explain like this to the customer.

Only now I know this information. None of the staff have mention this to me (even at ASNB offices)
*
Yes, if not because the staff is so informative and informing about this to me, i guess i will keep wasting my time 'shopping' around at those ASNB agents who only know how to answer... "cannot bo"..

At least i save some time, energy and my breath.. Bravo, ASNB.. rclxms.gif

Today I'm very sad. I cannot get any asw2020 units. Even rm50 also don't have  doh.gif  shakehead.gif
*
Well, at least you have the account for asw2020...

It looks like i really have to give up on ASW2020, unless there are additional units opened for subscription in future, which i deemed is quite impossible as they are now pushing for ASG..

Because this morning when i being there, while waiting, there is one officer (i think sales team) introduce to me about ASG..

Good for you to have at least that range of average savings...

Now with the inflation going wild, not many can save even RM400 per month.. blush.gif

Should be due to the high commitments that most of the people have.. hmm.gif

Dont worry, as long as you revise your budget, it still can be done..

I am going to revise my budget already.. especially my meals for lunch can revise to be not so costly..

Previously i have such plans but i did not really stick to it, as a result i spend between RM8 and RM10 per meal..

Now, seriously have to sacrifice to downgrade the budget to RM5 per meal, at least save about RM70 per month..

A sacrifice was required to earn passive income, nothing much can be done.. blush.gif

What if the shop increase the food prices (they give logistic cost increase as excuses)? Now rm5/meal increased to rm6?

I'm expecting the price of goods & services to increase a bit  vmad.gif  mad.gif
*
Yape, i am also expecting the increase also...

Since the day the petrol price increase, you would see the news talking about 'Ministry will ensure inflation will not happen', 'Food price will be monitored', etc.. it seems to me more like to bluff.. Its a simple mathematics that they think we dont know.. An increase will petrol will definitely increase the cost of living as food prices, and other household products due to higher logistics cost..

Now they will not increase the price, but next month, i believe those prices of the foods and household products will increase..

Say want to control inflation, but they are doing the opposite..

Yape, sometimes tight budget, no choice but to withdraw..

But anyway, no issue with it because ASB account holders can deposit into the account at any given time..

Its not like us non bumi who have to deposit to the fixed unit trust account through trial and error, we will feel reluctant and frustrated when we have to withdraw the money from the account..

Well, if you think only rich people drive big cars, you might be wrong..

Because in my experience as part of the a property sales team, i see people driving Kancil paying a downpayment of RM3X,XXX plus to even RM4X,XXX plus; without even touching their own EPF account 2..

And most of my customers who are driving betters cars are asking questions like ''could I full-loan?", "downpayment too heavy, client want to settle in installment"..

Recently I have spoke to one of my friend, he is driving an old Kancil, but I saw his ASNB account, he got RM50,000 something lei.. brows.gif
