If this cannot resolve, I don't think I will get MSI laptops in the future again. It's a good laptop but terrible service here in Malaysia.

You can talk to MSI-NB about your case, lets see what action he will take. smile.gif

I don't know if anything can be done but I contacted their customer service already. Still waiting for their response.
The CS people I talk to dont seem to know anything about the claim procedure so they can warn me that what I'm doing is not ok.

Maybe most of people here are lucky and don't get defective units so nobody really sees how they candle warranty claims.

Hi,need your view on which is better between msi Ge60 2pc & ge60 2pe. The only difference I know is they use gtx850m & gtx860m respectively but what about in terms of price,is it worth the difference ?

So we worked out a resolution for my case:
They decided to make a exception for my case and let me come back 1 month later as they promised the first time.

But this nonsense about their customer having to come back in X days or else we cancel your claim is still bullshit. But somehow they are saying this is the MSI parent company's international policy and not just here.If this is true, it just means their whole worldwide system is terrible.

That looks really terrible, but no choice, their manufacturing plants are in China or Taiwan, anything happen especially hardwares need to ship back to China or Taiwan. hence, the shipping is already at least 1 week, plus repair queue and some standard procedures, eventually, it is 3~4 weeks if they work efficiently.

In fact, any Taiwanese product is almost similar in case of claiming warranty.

I'm using GE60 too. I notice Y50 screen is pretty bad compared to GE60, color looks quite off sweat.gif well it depends on personal preference..

Just got my GS60 2PE. Its awesome. No wifi problem and headphone jack is ok. I also updated everything in Windows and nvidia driver via the preinstalled nVidia GeForce Experience

So far, heat is not yet a problem because im using a cooler.

My GPU got toasted from overheating (GX60) and still under warranty. Reported to Kelana Jaya MSI service center. After one week, they called me for some delay in shipment of the hardware, need at least 2-4 weeks. But then after 2 weeks they called again saying its already done.

Well I guess is not that bad from my experience.

For me,I can deal with delays but I don't like it when they will tell me things like 4 weeks but they do it in 2 days. Or 2 days becomes 4 weeks. They say this is all because of shipping time and customs clearance uncertainty but MSI have been in business for years. They should be able to give a more accurate estimate or at least have a online status tracker.

I already feedback to them this complaint but I don't know if they will do anything or not.
