Hey welcome! Nice purchase there. Do us know how's the performance when you game on it.
----------------
By the way I'm back! After days of troubleshooting very random problems from OS to driver issues to drive corruptions. Moral of the story... when MSI says use DDR3L 1.35V modules for Haswell... follow

LOL!!!
So I pulled out all the offending DIMMs and restore from my backup image. Lucky I made an exact image copy after I set up the laptop the way I wanted.
On the bright side of things, the performance is fantastic. A big jump from my previous laptop with GTX 660M. World of Tanks is showing 50-70fps at max settings, even when there's a lot of players on the field. Good stuff!
Not gonna argue there. I've been okay so far (zero issues) but yeah, unstable RAM can botch up a LOT of things. I know I argued that 1.5 is usable, BUT that is only if you get LUCKY. There is no guarantee that any 1.5/1.65v stick will work with Haswell, and Russian Roulette isn't good for your laptop.
So guys, unless you don't have a choice (I wanted to play the "authorised dealer RAM addon" card when I bought my GE40 and they didn't have any LoVo), stick with LoVo (DDR3L/1.35v).
New owners: Storm88 has shit loads of LoVo and he's an authorised dealer (AFAIK), so you all know what to do.
On another note, I'm ABSOLUTELY tempted to pledge for Star Citizen now (being a StrikeCom, Freelancer, Starlancer, WingCom and Privateer fanboi that I am) but the TOTAL lack of playable content so far has stopped me so far.
I wonder if I can wait until some form of betas come out before I pledge.
Damn, between SC, BF4, Rainbow6 and Titanfall; I'm gonna be shit broke next year. That's not even with all the other AAA games taken into consideration.
