Did you try turning it off and on again? Download some hardware test app in the store. icon_rolleyes.gif

Did you install anything recently or drop the phone? Are your volume buttons at the side maxed out?

Try performing a soft reset. (Hold volume down + power button for 10 secs)

If not it might be hardware issue. I had a similar problem whereby wen i turn on my loudspeaker the person on the other end cant hear me. But normal calls and voice commands, the mic works. So had to send for service. Turns out there are 2 mics.

first encounter today, from 76% dropped until 19% right after restart, which is quite shocking. But the "hours left" displayed half a day left.

if I restart again, it will take another 2-3%. restarting OS does not consume 10% of battery.

The OS battery calibration is bugged. It happens every 1-2 weeks, which mean u have to restart ur phone every 1-2weeks. LAME! Seems to me Nokia phone is great, but it become imperfect thanks to buggy windows phone.

Microsoft seems to take its own sweet time patching the windows phone. They are SLOW on updating OS.
