Device not reliable. I change mind last year. Because it is already over 1 year, I have to pay RM320 for the replacement since it is under 2 years contract. Now the replacement modem faulty again.

Finished contract and not able to terminate my account

After 2 years contract, I intend to terminate my account in telco taiping which is where I signed up. The staff there said they r not able to terminate account in their branch without any explanation & mislead me by telling me I'm only able to terminate in taiping mall outlet. But when I reach the outlet, the staff in Taiping mall said they are also can't do it & they already told tesco taiping branch many time only Ipoh or Penang can terminate account. I feel like a ball being kicking around by two of the taiping yes 4g staff. Yes 4g side claim customer can walk in to any of the Yes Stores to terminate account is fault. I think Yes 4g should be the only 4g provide asking customer to travel outstation in order to terminate account. Yes 4g is operating its business like multilevel marketing scheme. I'm planning to call yes care tomorrow if still can't resolve it I will complaint my case to Mcmc or cfm in order to solve my case. mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif

I know right. Their services is undeniable terrible and slow.. Having encounter problem where my line accidentally connected to other state line(I have no idea how this happened) and then they took 2 weeks to solve this problem. Is it that hard for them just to unblock my line? Unfortunately I'm still bonded and I feel a little regret for signing this thing... vmad.gif

Case settled. Everything solved after talk to yescare directly. Best part is i can keep the modem & not recycled to new account.

Hi, I need help from those who have encountered the same problem as me.

Here's the thing, I've subscribed for its 1mb unlimited plan for 1.5yrs alr but I can't get access to the Internet since yesterday afternoon.

The led light were all on including the refresh led light, but I can't seem to detect any wifi using both of my mobile phone and laptop.

I was hoping that this issue would be resolved overnight but it continues. So I brought the modem along to the service centre and the staff reset my modem and it can be used again. The staff didnt know the reason behind this too.

After I got home I immediately plugged in but the led light was all on again so I pressed the reset button and reset the wifi network name and password. I enjoyed watching video for abt an hr and suddenly it got me disconnected again. I reset, available for use. After maybe 1.5hrs, the modem cant work despite me consistently resetting and unplug it to cool it off.

Anyone knows what's wrong with my modem? I have alr sent out inquiry to yes care just in case they are not competent and efficient enough.

Really terrible service. Can barely surf at night. Tonight, cannot surf at all. Two reports made to MCMC. YES drags as long as it can when it comes to giving case number.

Really regret signing up for YES. 22 more months to go.
