nex 3n need to press and hold the shutter for bulb mode. and i could find any remote specifically for the 3n

Guys, do you guys buy camera from retail shop like Sony/SenQ? or go for small business entity for slightly cheaper price for the camera?

Thinking to buy NEX-5T these few days, but not sure should I go Sony/SenQ or other shops for slightly cheaper price ~
Anyone bought the NEX5T?
Any good shop recommend in Penang?

with standard size SD card adaptor, can. of course cannot use micro-SD bro, all camera use SD card as standard except high performance DSLR which use specific high speed card.
actually, my experience with RX1 and RX100 is only an instructional paper inside the box, asking you to register warranty online. i didn't see any specific sticker. kinda clever cause they want you to buy from trusted dealers or sony store.

thanks man. I just went to Sony store and SenQ at Queensbay. Sony don't have any good offer and discount but SenQ discount RM150 and extra 2 years warranty for member. Will get 1 from SenQ.

Theres a holographic sticker underneath the camera, not sure can be forged or not but its one way to tell its ori. Also go for reputable shop la, dont just jump cause very cheap.

you can get RM2099 with 16-55mm and 55mm-210mm lenses, if with discount RM200/300, only cost RM1799/1899 if applicable for the discount.
(p.s. if not mistake la.. i see rm2099 with 2 lenses... 2nd one discount lotsssssss)

but if bundle with NEX3N can get cheaper a lots.. why not get it bundle and sell outside higher? lol

no lah the Nikon 1 not very expensive mah so sell off also lose money...might as well let my family member use it.

and the rx100 belongs to my brother.
reliable source told me that nex 3n twin lens sold out immediately cause the zoom lens almost free with that kind of price.

By the way, I've got a question regarding the auto-focus on my NEX-3N. I uses spot focusing most of the time. However, I notice that recently, when I half pressing the shuttle, the focus went to dotted box over the frame instead of the square bracket in the centre. Could anyone advice?

the macro shot seem not as good as RX100 (i try friends before) and background defocus seem not as good as RX100 as well. izit because the F3.5 (NEX5T) and F1.8 (RX100) difference cause the background defocus differences?
but macro shot i thought NEX5T should be better than RX100? 16mm vs 28mm ?

Depends on what type of photography you mostly do and the effects you want. i juz get a CPL filter due to i prefer landscape and to eliminate glare and deepens the blue sky color.

some said UV filter is to protect your expansive lens, which make sense as well.

did you stop down while shooting with your NEX? NEX has much bigger sensor thus shallower depth of field, i didn't check the original size but on web viewing size the wings on the NEX shot is in focus and sharp while the rest seems not. shooting with big sensor one usually stop down to f8 or smaller to get more area in focus.

also it's also not accurate to compare with different subject where you can go closer to the bee (or whatever it is lol), you'll get as much detail if you fill the frame with dragonfly too. also there's another factor of perceived sharpness - try to shoot with silky smooth skin young model and old man, you'll find the old man shot has more sharp "details". lighting also play a role, the bee shot has better lighting where the angle of light highlighted the texture on the body.

Not that close. Snapping the whole pic of a phone, just trying. Is it considered as really close? But snapping the pic of camera using the phone looks good
