LG or Digi its not gonna be a swift warranty return right?
Depend what problem happen on your devices, most Nexus 4 user give 5star rating to LG Service center Malaysia for fixing their volume/power button flaw in just around 20-40min on the spot. Back glass/Front glass broken, depend stock availability, if stock available, few hours get the job done for you.
DiGi just asists you send to LG service center anyway... nothing to do with them.
It's a risk, but like everything else it depends on how much risk you're willing to take.
If you wait for the local set to launch... 1. It may take two or three months 2. the 32gb version may not be available 3. the price will be steeper (maybe RM1900 for the 32gb if they have it?) 4. Local warranty
If you can get it from the US/Australia... 1. You get it earlier 2. The price is much cheaper (about RM1300+ if you can get a friend to bring it back, if not RM1500-1700 from sellers here) 3. Overseas warranty so it's troublesome
Question 1: Starting price for local set got so expensive?
Question 2: Regular retail hp shops in Aussie have em right?

Sounds impressive. If I get a unit from overseas, and it develops a problem, can I send it back to the local service center and let them fix it for a fee? Will they entertain me at all?

Nexus 4 (local set) = FREE Nexus 4 (non-local set) = Charge you for certain fee
Nexus 5? = TBA
But I assume they would do the same this time, but not until Nexus 5 launch in MY.

It's LG who's selling the phone here, not Google so expecting the same price is a bit unreasonable. Some people said Google's selling the N4 before at cost price ,thus why it's cheap.

Based on my experience, they'll repair it,you just need to pay for the cost [which is IMO not high, only RM350+30 for a N4's screen last time]
some say the camera is better than i5s others beg to differ. trust who?

1. Mute the video and use your own judgement. Repeat with other youtube clips. 2. Compare the camera samples in reviews on your own without reading reviewer's comments.
