Good news for HyppTV customer! HyppTV will launch 2 new HD channel to their viewer soon. Introducing new Animax HD & Sony Channel HD this year.

This channel will starts 1st June 2017.

why does the hypptv android app only work on my phone and not in my android box? i can only watch TV1 & TV2 on the box...

my box is the m8s.

afaik it's their restriction. i mean by default not working on others box, but some box can view all channel. even on some tablet occur this problem.

my first suspicion is it's restricted only for rooted devices. anyone able to view all the channels on their droidbox?

this "root" thing is misunderstood again and again.

for an app to work, rooted or unrooted is irrelevant although sometimes u get the message - "yr box is rooted so...".

use the same box unrooted, u still get the same message.

so, this root message is bs when it comes to an app not workable on a certain device.

the same is seen with astrogo and iflix.



hypptv everywhere - some boxes can, some cannot, nobody knows why.

but i am quite sure it will work on devices on google androidtv, incl smart tvs and boxes.

having more channel is good but it's connected to one tv at a time. So things might look bad sometime when someone dominates the tv. Luckily NHK can stream on web lol.

Too bad NHK HD only available in HyppTV..
Astro one NHK SD with crap MPEG2 compression...

astro one is NHK WORLD PREMIUM(which is in Original Japanese languages), this one is NHK WORLD TV(which is in English Languages). NHK WORLD TV(english) also on TONTON (which is owned by media prima).

thanks for explaining. NHK World TV is way more enjoyable compare to NHK world Premium.

In terms of channel content, way better than premium maybe it was due to targeted English audience or US watchers as they did mention some US States in news weather report. Premium itself is for native Japanese.

Besides, Warner TV Asia seems promising, they had Trilogy of LOTR Movies past weeks.

Warner TV HD now available in both Astro & HyppTV platform..

Tomorrow will be the launch of Animax HD & Sony Channel HD. The irony is who can get the GEM HD instead... We all know that Astro has no interest with japanese channel. Maybe will come to HyppTV..
