dun get u... wifi but using long cable?

wifi = wireless.

it is probably the long cable with signal losses that is causing the buffering.

how to boost that signal, u probably wanna ask in the broadband section as many people have tried various methods, heavily discussed there.

here, discussion more on channels, prices, packages, promos...
*
I tried on Wifi, it buffers.
Then I tried on UTP cable, also buffers.
The UTP cable is only 10m long.
No need to boost the Wifi signal.

Hypptv uses its own dedicated line from the modem, so it wont affect your internet speed, dont worry smile.gif

Unifi has IPTV own line via VLAN, Streamyx users had to share connection

My HyppTv is working fine on WiFi. Easy setup on the RGX4400 router.
I can watch all the channels but buffer quite frequently.
I am using a long UTP cable as the router is upstairs and the tv is downstairs.

you could consider using powerline to do the virtual LAN connection, i heard it works well for situations like yours

for 10m make sure the cable is gigabit CAT6, cat 5e may not able to do it as it's only 10/100 speed

I don't think the HyppTv box has gigabit LAN port.
Anyway I rebooted the router a few times and now it is stable without any buffering.

Yes, you can. Provided your router allows you to configure wifi for vlan 600.
And your HyppTv box got wifi.

yup, before unifi comes to my house, i was suffering with the 4Mbps turtle speed. i even subscribe to hypptv during my 1st of streamyx service. totally cannot stream at all, even without using the Internet connection at all, it also stream with frequent buffering.

it is so nice to be on Unifi that my bandwidth is more than what i even need. tongue.gif

Dear all,

I have problem with HyppTV today. The box (Huawei EC6108V8) cannot sync the time online (can't connect to NTP server), thus no channel will be displayed.

Icon at the lower-right corner have yellow exclamation mark over it.

In the Settings -> Network Diagnostic Tool page, the network test failed for some of the items

I visited HyppTV's Facebook page and I don't see anyone reported they have similar problem, I'm afraid it is only me who have this problem?

Can anyone help?

EDIT:

I've restarted the Huawei box, Unifi modem and my router several times already, still the same.

This problem only happened this evening when I came home from work.
