I took the corner again, quite confirm the screeching tyre is left tyre at left turn. It is the LDP turn near tractors Malaysia. It's super smooth curve over there, feels like made for speed.
I do still throttle while doing the curve. Maybe when weight shifted, the left tyre spun more. This post has been edited by mengsuan: Aug 12 2013, 09:26 PM |

to old school 4 speeder ATs (i dont think got 3speeders for blm/fl/flx right?
Proton SP3 at around/less than 5k km ady turn watery even on cold start, shifting mechanism lagging like crap (no lubegard btw, as i was running in the new gasket/AT box oil sump) most likely draining that shit this week prior to track day (tomorrow? or friday) so it can perform better with less wear :/ |

after few almost 1k kms with cdrive2 tyres, and 3max bars, change stock brake pads, why i found it's easier for the tyre to give screeching sound when hard braking (straight road, jam brake for traffic light, slow cars or speed hump) and fast junction entering? emm, i'm not sure front (cdrive2) or rear (old goodyear)

Does campro have TPS (throttle position sensor)?
I was just reading that TPS is not compulsory for ECU but without TPS, there will be such delay because the ECU can only react after seeing manifold air flow increase. |

Arr. after changed to bendix metal king brake pad. Its giving me scratching rotor sound on my left side. The longer period i use the higher scratching sound. Initial no sound but after time to time sound is noticeable when below 20 km/h speed. Paiseh when at shoping center parking lot. My magician said nothing can be done as bendix is like that. He recommend me use aveo brake pad from GM.

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Aug 13 2013, 12:49 AM) maybe brand new brake pads, locks wheels/slows rotors faster than the tire can cope. if it's because the softer c drive 2 compound, mybe i need to make use of it. i had only use stock goodyear tires which I believe is a bit harder, even if pushed still very hard to screech. now the screeching actually less than the first 1k kms. functions, due to the bars, they WILL work your suspension/tires harder (which is good) i would not be too surprised if it's the c drive 2 as they are comfort tires, however if you are having mixed tires, best if you can first identify where is the source of the screech. and to be honest, better if you practice changing all 4 tires instead of 2/pair, while practicing good tire rotations for even wear on all 4 tires. anyway thanks 4 ur reply bro |
