David. I was trying to push the myvi to go faster and let it expose it weak side. I think we saw the myvi driver took the most inner lane.

Yesterday at highway I can feel the differences the obvious.

Qua. Nice to have u riding in my car with David. Nice tire u have....how does it feel to sit behind?
*
laugh.gif The fella knew it, he purposely 1. Frankly, that's typical KL driver(not mention it's a dugong/turtle). Most of these bugger like to speed past, hog on the lane where you go. Trust me if you attempt to over take on the innerlane, that ******* would have block your way until they able to setup a trap to block you from behind, which is exactly what happened this morning.

Anyway, catching up the Mybi and pushing him was fun enough. Knowing we're still on 4th gear oni, still got rooms to go laugh.gif However though, after the bugger swifted to the most left lane, left the black LMST on the middle lane and a bloody FLX infront that time really nerve wrecking. sweat.gif Thank God your braking skill is way above par notworthy.gif

You guys drove so fast that I can't see you guys after first corner and I u-turn back. Salute

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Aug 10 2013, 04:29 AM)
yet another dilemma lol.
well so far braking is ok la, just need to find a new stock EBC greenstuff probably directly imported from UK. cheaper anyways and i'll most probably get the noise reduction shims fitted too which would be nice

i can lock my wheels now anyways with the current brake pads/rotors (im on x drilled/slotted too hehe) so really have to discipline on the braking part and self applied ABS (aku brake sendiri brows.gif )

What dilemma? whistling.gif

Having a large disc brake is not entirely base on wanting braking power. When you have a larger rotor that matches your rim size, you'll get a lot more easier threshold braking. I'm not saying stock brake no good or the imported pads is flawed. The fact is, when you have a small rotor with a bigger wheel, as and when you try to clamp your brakes, either it doesn't bite, or it bite harsh and you jam brake whistling.gif Don't forget, iswaga front end so dem heavy, you can't possibly work on 50/50 brake force distribution. My case, ayam guessing most of my braking power has been routed to my front, my rear brakeshoe can last like forever icon_idea.gif

David, really an eye opener for me on these youngster drivers in kl. usually I go kl also with my wife and daughter in a different car so never had such encounters.

Seremban u won't see such drivers have but very very few and seldom encounter. Won't see u driving in fast lane then purposely come provoke u. I wonder what is the grudge on gaga owners from those myvi and dugong. Frankly speaking that time we were driving at our own pace then just come and disturb our pace. Some more my car outside look totally stock no spoiler or body kit and totally no indication that my car is heavily modify also.....hmmmmm must be gorrila attracted him...hahahaha

Mengsuan. Sorry bro we really didn't intent to leave you behind. I was just driving as usual only a few place drive faster a bit...

http://youtu.be/5LruL0ur4Rg?t=1m33s

Tell me what do u feel about the incident after u watch? The dugong is definitely drunk, but what do u learn from the Mybi?

MRR2 run was started slow as TitanRev not familiar with the road. I gave my instruction to whack the 1st huge high speed corner near the tasik selatan(which I buanged the 1st day I installed 3MAX bars). Entering speed was 90kph oni, exit at 120kph. Continue the sprint, heading LRT BTS, meter clocked 170kph. Brake and lose some speed due to unfamiliar of the road, could have rev match downshift 3rd gear and continue sprint the way out from the bottom of the bridge by taking the left lane. Passes by Desa Tun Razak with heavy traffic built up due to bass stopping by and cars evading out from the left lane. This point of time, we realized accidentally overtook an MyBi, not sure whether the bugger was provoked by kenjilew's bling bling keep dionging us. I advised TitanRev to give way. After the MyBi flyby, TitanRev took the right lane and pickup speed. Taking the right lane is relatively dangerous on that stretch due to uneven, can see the MyBi is relatively smart to dodge the holes and uneven terrain taking that corner, our car pulak suffer a bit of bounce, never the less our Grade A Lunatic managed to follow with the right speed despite the car being bounced thoroughly. On the uphill, we've managed to give the MyBi some pressure, but not really pushing it hard. Not sure the MyBi is slowing down and call the game off, or it's simply not enough power to cope up with that hill climb.

At the point when passes by Tmn Midah Tesco, at downhill the MyBi trying to sprint away. I'm guessing that point of time TitanRev was getting annoyed and got pissed off. Downshift 3rd gear rev match WOT all the way to the red line and proceed with 4th gear. Eyeing the speedo meter at 160kph, screaming at nearly 7krpm, biting the MyBi back very closely. That arsehole still trying to block the way, infact purposely hog on the same lane till it finds an opportunity to block us, an LMST at the middle lane, not far ahead is an extremely slow FLX on the fast lane. TitanRev make a gradual threshold braking and stick behind the ultra slow FLX, we evade ourself from the fast lane and back to middle lane.

Basically that's the only drama happened, the rest are casual driving due to unfamiliar of road, which is why I suggested to let me drive 1 round earlier. Out of the blue, suddenly Quazacolt suggested the old Sg.Besi Nirvana road heading to Bestraya winding road, we took a U-Turn and hit Desa Petaling. We tackle a few nice corner at moderate speed, and finally slowing down at Bestraya as I scared there's speed camera. We took the Golden Horse roundabout and stopped at the traffic light. Kenjilew was at our side showing his yawning face wanted to provoke drag, we didn't take up the challenge. As an when the light turned green, sohigh Kenji make a short wheelspun and took off, what surprised us is an old 2008 N Line BLM catching up Kenji(Seremban plate also). The race wasn't lasted as Kenji decided to stay back with us because we didn't join the battle.

Until next time icon_rolleyes.gif

Ask me over and over again, I would have never go and chase a MyBi. God knows whether they'll suddenly terbalik infront of me without any valid reason whistling.gif

What is the service interval of Saga FLX?? 5000 km to 10000 km??
In the invoice it is stated that to service again at 11000 km but on the sticker at the windshield stated 6000 km. Even the ppl at customer service said 11000 km. Which 1 is correct?? Engine oil used was Syntium 800 SM 10w-40. Btw, is that engine oil Semi-synthetic?

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Aug 11 2013, 08:24 PM)
well, yokohama's high end aren't cheap either. if we're to compare it's best to compare with in the same range/category, and needless to say, anything slapped with the word "Advan" on it majority of malaysians avoid like a plague lol.
*
Back in the old days, AD01 was overwhelmed. Be it street racer or track practice lap, people like it so much. However, AD02 doesn't seem up on par with its competitor, partly because "B" branch "P" series tyre the competitor offer a slightly cheaper solution, back then the Hongda new toy rear wheel drive put the "B" brand and standard tyre, suddenly AD02 standard has been pulled down by all these placebo effecting the entire market. Despite some good review of AD03 later trying to save their reputation, but majority of the public took a step back and observe between "B" brand and Yoko. Until today, the dilemma still surrounding Yoko as mixture of review surrounding. Believer will continue to support, observer will continue to observe, ranter will continue to rant whatever the fuck they heard bad about it but never bother to try the product by themselves.

If ask me, as 1 of the earliest batch Yoko user on the AD01, I have never try to protect their reputation. The feeling of having these tyres in your car is so close to your heart. By changing the tyres alone, despite it's a same widthness with an ordinary Cibaistone tyre, but the AD01 will kena sagat on the same rim on the same car with the same suspension setup. Reason being, the rim guard groove is so damn thick until I had to roll my fender to clear it. As and when you drive, sand and stone got suck up and hitting on wheel arch that kind of weird feeling makes you feels like driving a track car. When you have not enough horse power, you get the car jump forward instead of wheelspin. Under wet condition, I feel the car skid, fun enough to know where the car is skidding to and my next steering reaction suppose to be what, I have all that on my palm and I know where my car will end up exactly. Only another Yoko AD user have this kinda feeling, and able to share within their small AD user community.

carb cars tade fuel pump oso  whistling.gif
*
Errr.... where do you get that shit?

http://youtu.be/c0arQ9PABBQ?t=36s

Got, it's called AC pump located at the right side of the engine near the small tiny mushroom there

user posted image

user posted image

FYI, fuel pump oftenly burn off is because when there's least pressure(low fuel), the rotor blank spin will emit high heat that burn off the carbon brush. Fuel itself is part of the "coolant" for the ac motor.

user posted image
user posted image

Hence, those who burnt their fuel pump even if they don't empty their tank often, are caused by clogged up fuel filter like Scotty Kilmer mentioned. When pressure overwhelmed BEFORE the fuel regulator, the fuel pump are instructed to work harder but the rotor unable to spin through due to blockage.

Then normally what you recommend ? pump at 1 bar or wait till it blinks ?
*
When it start to blink, it's time to fuel up. If you're comfortable, just do it when it's 1 bar before it's blink. Who knows sometimes if you couldn't find a gas station, you may have to stretch it a little bit. Here' s a video that explain to you why low fuel/empty tank can fry your fuel pump

hmm but problem is that ... at 1 bar (before it blinks) I still got 15L in my tank .. @_@ that's freaking a lot ... my old car .. I used to only refuel it at "E" ... then easily can pump in like RM66 (full tank was 40L (RM76) ...
*
No further comment. You ask, I tell and that's how the clock works. GaGa has relatively shallow reserve area in the tank, therefore the fuel float tend to give warning earlier(which is a good thing). Now it seems like you're not happy with the suggestion, why don't you try drying the tank to see how much further you can go next time. Good luck smile.gif
