Arr. after changed to bendix metal king brake pad. Its giving me scratching rotor sound on my left side. The longer period i use the higher scratching sound. Initial no sound but after time to time sound is noticeable when below 20 km/h speed. Paiseh when at shoping center parking lot. My magician said nothing can be done as bendix is like that. He recommend me use aveo brake pad from GM.

QUOTE(blau-saga @ Aug 13 2013, 11:10 AM) hv u skimmed ur rotors before changing the brake pad? i also hv the same problem with bendix, but mine was general ct. changed back to stock proton brake pad after only 5 months. bosch also hv brake pad for saga but priced at 70, very close to bendix metal king price and nvr heard any review of it. My magician said skimmed also same one will come back coz metal king to them is will eat rotor abit. He said most brake pad also like that so he recommend me buy aveo brake pad from GM. Btw my rotor no issue why need to skim? Coz my stock pad is even wear n tear rate. Even he also said change brembo rotor also same so now i go hunt aveo brake pad then only skim rotor.

QUOTE(TitanRev @ Aug 13 2013, 03:52 PM) Change brake pads, rotor need to skim. Reason for skimming is because at times you will notice that the rotors has some grooves in it shallow one or deep one that is due to debris stuck between the rotors and the pads. The naked eye see is even but it's actually not. That's why after you change a pad without a skim disc you will notice the rotors some area got contact some area don't have. It's very visible if you wash the car and the rotor got slight rust on it and you go drive around and see some area the rust gone and some still there. For me I only practice skimming the same disc twice only. Then change the rotors. Not neccesary to skim but its still depend how u braking. If u always hardbraking no doubt u need to skim. Rotor only can skim 2x max. Once u skimmed ur rotor, beware on hairline crack on the rotor.

My car petrol leak for couple day after last fuel full tank pump. Ytd after work decided to check undercarriage, found petrol tangku was wet wet. Take broom and stick with newspaper rub rub the wet wet spot. Fuiyoh petrol smell make me mau terbang. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
initial finding found the fuel pump return inlet cracked cause fuel leak from there. Magician also comment the return hose is in stressed position on the return inlet pump. Macam hose pendek aje. Furthermore the remove the tangki to trace the fuel hose and found 1 hose like this
Haiz this bloody hose not properly clipped to the provided wire clipping spot caused the tangki kemek the hose during tangki installation. Burn $$ gone for fuel pump rm420 and hose rm90 + me request changed fuel filter along rm40. Now i feel like my idle and ignition very good and stable. Ada power sikit when press pedal. Need to wait my ecu re-adapt the new changes. This post has been edited by KIntos: Aug 16 2013, 10:57 PM
