What is the service interval of Saga FLX?? 5000 km to 10000 km??
In the invoice it is stated that to service again at 11000 km but on the sticker at the windshield stated 6000 km. Even the ppl at customer service said 11000 km. Which 1 is correct?? Engine oil used was Syntium 800 SM 10w-40. Btw, is that engine oil Semi-synthetic?

Hi Bro... notworthy.gif

Service intervals shld follow odometer readings...
Eg if using SS EO, 1st @1k Km...2nd @5k Km...3rd @10k Km & so on...

However, if using FS EO, then it wld b @1k Km...then 10k Km...agin @20k Km & so on...

Different SCs hv different interpretations...sorry.... rolleyes.gif

ps. It's also advisable 2change oil filter @5k Km intervals...top up EO if necessary.

NB. Yu're the car owner, the Paymaster, everything...
Decisions & responsibilities of wat's best 4yr ride is SOLELY up2yu & yu alone...
Best wishes... cheers.gif

Syntium 800 is SS.

Last time if you use SS your service interval is every 5k km, now I heard they extended it to 10k km even for SS.

To be sure call up COSE and ask, or email Proton WetakCare.

Hi Bro... notworthy.gif

Juz 4discussion sake, if engine moving parts are the same, wat cld the reason(s)/factor(s) be to allow longer OCIs than as is...?

Dun tell me Proton has upgraded materials quality of int moving parts?

If not, it wld b better 2keep 2existing schedules...or are the old OCIs too over precautious?
Or mayb it's P1's idea of cutting down their FREE services costs? rclxub.gif

Wat say all Bros better versed in car mainenance issues...? tongue.gif

To me 10K interval with semi synthetic is totally fine. At 5k, the oil still looks brand new

I ask them to check everything. Anyway the SA told me those tires mmg noisy, I was not the first to komplen doh.gif
Why not OK? blink.gif
SE is 15"
Normal tires, nothing to shout about.

There are a few other brands for that size, Falken ZE912, for example. I forgot about the others, need to dig throug the Fiesta Club forums, but yeah that size is rare.

if no big issue, SA try to say everything is ok den they no need chg ma

Yup, seems so...
When SS EOs appear on the scene, those "fellas" din kno wat's 2b done...
So safest is 2group SS with mineral!

Now after all feedbacks & being time proven, those "fellas" must hv felt secure enuf 2remove previous anxieties over bad effects of using SS EOs for longer OCIs... tongue.gif

Problem is if I was to use their high range ones, there are better offerings from other brands like Yokohama, Toyo, etc. Lol
