It looks modern and timeless to me.  European design.

It'll look modern in the late 90s.

really, the rear has a hint of mazda 323 hatchback.

I'm thinking they chose the name Suprima as a double entendre.

Like you said Preve = predict which derive from Spanish.

Suprima = supreme, make sense, but it means "remove" in Spanish.

I was wondering if that serves as a middle finger to Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin & they can't abruptly cancel the development halfway for the hatchback version like they cancelled all Lotus future projects.

Maybe I'm thinking too much.

I very much prefer the Preve rear. It looks modern. Coupe like almost. The Preve Sportback rear doesn't match the rest of the design. It is too rounded.

Prevé means "To prove" (as in, to prove that Proton can). This is Proton's definition for this name.

I thought they have dropped the Lotus R&H badge (renamed to Proton R&H). Why are they reverting back to the Lotus brand?

DRB sudah inject some money to the ailing Lotus recently to revive their buss. I am guessing DRB still wants to milk the Lotus branding.

Looks better than Preve IMO. But super stupid name doh.gif

Bigger ICE screen is much appreciated. Exterior still sucks but at least it's an improvement over Preve.

The rear seems like they were lazy to get alignments and cabling done properly so they decided not to extend the tail lights to the boot lid.

I wonder how much...
