Serious powerbank exploding?? Than don't ever use those cheapo types. Out of curiosity I bought those only rm90 types for 20000mAh n now already in garbage dump after less than 2 months use. It charges slowly n is even worse than my yoobao 11200MAh in terms of charging period usage. I dismantled the casing n no sandbags but those batteries looks darn inconsistent n ugly poorly made. Probably such are overdeclared capacities n suspect poor circuitry control. Dump it after that

well from what i observed the powerbank market is quite bad at the moment, everyone is desperate to clear off their stocks and u can see the same product image with different capacity declared (from 12k/20k to some even declared 30k mah) and in the end they are just the same sh!t with different packaging. my 2 years old 5k mah powerbank from taiwan (yeah also brandless) still works but to get the powerbank fully charged i have to charge it for one whole day, more than 18 hours. and that freaks me off so i decided to bring my charger with me whenever i travel now.

I have several powerbank. My wife also puzzled why I need to buy so many. Just a lousy habit wanting to try many. A brief review:

Expensive n average performance n will not consider anymore : Energizer Xp4000 (4500Mah)
Expensive highly praised endorsed by Apple sadly not by me : powerrocks 12000 Mah - slow charging
Best value n reasonable price with good charging but beware of getting fakes : yoobao 4800 n 11200 Mah.I also have another 15000 Mah n is disappointing n probably is a fake n.it cost me rm230 vs retail Rm280+
Cheapo unbranded 20000Mah totally waste of money n already dump it
Sony 3500Mah : got it free w Xzu but expensive listed at rm199. Still in box n will sell off
Coming in next week Limeade 18000Mah from Amazon : to assess as very good reviews from many sites

Talking about that my battery also drains faster these days, no thanks to DiGi.
They just rolled out H+ and it's not stable. Keeps switching between H and H+.

I think H+ comes when we uploading/downloading something only. Otherwise the icon sit on H

Or get the LTE....FTW..!!!

mine is umobile and its always between H and H+ too


when the emails/ fb/ feeds are pulling it will change to H+ so yep its unstable.

I am using the 11200 power bank only flaw I notice if I use phone while charging I only get 1 full charge. If I off everything on phone I might get 2 charge.

After 2months its still fine.

better safe than sorry tbh. at the moment only reliable brand to me is legit yoobao. i've been reselling powerbank before so i roughly know how pathetic the original factory's QC and inspection level is. u can even assume there's no QC done at all.

i'm near KLCC too.. mana lu? LOL

4.3 is not bad with camera, SS and graphics problems only so far (flickering in apps)

try out also the Anker brand
