QUOTE(benny888 @ Aug 2 2013, 09:06 AM) Serious powerbank exploding?? Than don't ever use those cheapo types. Out of curiosity I bought those only rm90 types for 20000mAh n now already in garbage dump after less than 2 months use. It charges slowly n is even worse than my yoobao 11200MAh in terms of charging period usage. I dismantled the casing n no sandbags but those batteries looks darn inconsistent n ugly poorly made. Probably such are overdeclared capacities n suspect poor circuitry control. Dump it after that well from what i observed the powerbank market is quite bad at the moment, everyone is desperate to clear off their stocks and u can see the same product image with different capacity declared (from 12k/20k to some even declared 30k mah) and in the end they are just the same sh!t with different packaging. my 2 years old 5k mah powerbank from taiwan (yeah also brandless) still works but to get the powerbank fully charged i have to charge it for one whole day, more than 18 hours. and that freaks me off so i decided to bring my charger with me whenever i travel now. |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Aug 2 2013, 09:36 AM) long time no c bro. now at klcc there QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 2 2013, 09:45 AM) He said opposite of KLCC right? mine is umobile and its always between H and H+ too Talking about that my battery also drains faster these days, no thanks to DiGi. They just rolled out H+ and it's not stable. Keeps switching between H and H+. QUOTE(waveweaver @ Aug 2 2013, 09:50 AM) I think H+ comes when we uploading/downloading something only. Otherwise the icon sit on H when the emails/ fb/ feeds are pulling it will change to H+ so yep its unstable.Or get the LTE....FTW..!!! |

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Aug 2 2013, 10:04 AM) I am using the 11200 power bank only flaw I notice if I use phone while charging I only get 1 full charge. If I off everything on phone I might get 2 charge. better safe than sorry tbh. at the moment only reliable brand to me is legit yoobao. i've been reselling powerbank before so i roughly know how pathetic the original factory's QC and inspection level is. u can even assume there's no QC done at all. After 2months its still fine. |

QUOTE(alexng2208 @ Aug 6 2013, 02:12 PM) well, its from Cult of Mac which means everyone there is a fan. well like the olds say, if u can't beat them, join them. in 2013, if u can't beat them, sue them/ acquire them.isn't it fun to read how much the author is killing himself / herself / iself to write that painful article on the dominance of google and its android operating system on innovation and creativity. he / she / i-person is just wanting to change to android but cannot, well his job dictates he must be a loyalist at apple |

QUOTE(alexng2208 @ Aug 6 2013, 05:20 PM) too much junkware that the dev thinks you would need... in terms of junkwares i think nobody can top omega so i rather not have that i think PA's multi DPI thing is the best bar none http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386774 new super speed thing architect kononnya. does it complement crossbreeder which is now dev stagnant? LOL anyway using xnote but some apps aren't compatible with low dpi so far all apps are running good in cm10.2? i might just jump ship if they fix the screenshot issue. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Aug 6 2013, 07:10 PM) Security Advisory for chicken lovers: *serious stuff, really* so not only the chicken itself got worm, now the application to buy chicken also got worm. fascinating Android App Contains Windows Worm http://blogs.mcafee.com/mcafee-labs/androi...ns-windows-worm Here is the curious case of an Android application on Google Play that contains some traces of malware, but poses no security danger for Android devices. This same application, however, is dangerous to other mobile and PC platforms. Embedded inside this APK file, McAfee Labs found a Windows worm (Generic Malware.og!ats) that replicates itself via network shares. There is no auto-execution option for the malware on a Windows PC, but a user could run the malicious application by opening the APK (in Zip format) and running the program. This PC malware resides in each Android device that has installed the “KFC WOW@25 Menu” app. ![]() |

QUOTE(antt00 @ Aug 15 2013, 10:19 AM) You have to check whatever rom you are using and compare. i tot it only covers browser Third item, "Background Color". If you wanna turn back on power savings but dun want the dim email/browser, do not select this item. anyway didn't find powersaving useful so yeah just turn it off better. thanks a lot semut |

QUOTE(joytest @ Sep 3 2013, 04:13 PM) Nicely designed powerbanks from Sony.... sofa-king expensive http://blog.gsmarena.com/sony-announces-50...ttery-chargers/ However they only seem to be available in India at the moment. 5k and 10k mAh. ....The CP-F5 USB portable charger is available across all Sony Centers and major electronic stores across India from August 2013 and costs $42 (Rs.2790), while the CP-F10L retails for $76. |
