i tried using AOSP rom and i liked it much, the only downside is that i can't use the 3g video call like i could during touchwiz.

any idea on how to do that without 3rd party apps like skype and etc?

I believe telco 3G video calling is performed by proprietary signalling hardware in the radio/modem, therefore I don't think you will ever get this function in non-TW ROMs.

So now do share some contrasts between Note 2 and XZU since you have it falling out of your pants already.

I would like to ask if you could perform a slightly extended test by trying to treat the XZU as a paper notebook for 1 day. I am interested how this turns out.

This would show if palm rejection is a non-issue if you keep your writing hand to the side of the screen, and allow the XZU to be used as a multi-page notepad during meetings. I use the Note 2 to scribble multi-page notes.

Not 100% sure. Depends if the XZU is good enough. If the XZU suffers a catastrophic price drop, it can be compelling. The competition for huge phones has gotten extremely interesting this year.

If it turns out to be 5.9", I think I won't hesitate to get the Note 3.

U gonna miss airview and spen features. But u still able to get mods for the spen usage.

truth be told I do occasionally use it when i feel my fingers are too thick or to preview videos..may cause inconvenience..hmmm..how about app stability? any force close issues etc?

Hope for a big price drop when XZU LTE version release. May wanna switch to Sony then. Can live without spen but tough without led flash. Thinking this shud replace my Nexus 7.
