So far I would say only audio quality is soft though speakers. And this is main weaknes. Phone is excellent in all other aspects. Sound is quite similar to stock xperia z...... Hope to see pureX audio tweak as in XZ available soon

Note 2 stylus is completely different class. An insult to Note2 to even compare

You need to choose a loud Ringtone yourself. The default ones are all poor

This was my biggest worry of all, and unfortunately it is true after what you said. Many reviews and hands-on so far did not even mention this issue. I guess this is another gimmick for the ZU and everybody would have thought they would be at least equal to Note 2's stylus performance, or better since this one allows pencil usage. Now it all boils down to the thinness of the phone, the display quality, screen size, waterproofing and blazing performance as the things going for it, but not sure if these are enough. Hmmm. Thanks for highlighting this Benny!

Maybe Benny can help on this? A preliminary battery life over weekend?

So seems the weakness is the input via pen, hope Sony can improve in near firmware even though I believe I will not frequent use it but some user might need it.

As for loud speaker, I never put high hope on it.

Looking at the built quality of it's cover , I wouldn't be surprise the issue of Xperia Z arises again where the covers become lose due to opening n closing , making it no longer waterproof .

Well I would say that was the first thing I looked out for ever since they started showing videos. @deddo kindly did the demo on failed palm rejection for us all yesterday, and IINM, he is the first person in the world to do it. Nobody else has picked up on this in the West since they haven't gotten their hands on it, and I think the HK review site only did conductive stylus testing without considering palm rejection either.

Fail on writing as a gimmick, but otherwise useful as a smaller-than-7-inch-device.

I do not think firmware will solve the palm rejection as it has to do with the digitizer hardware differentiating between 2 conductive areas.

A Wacom digitizer can differentiate between the resonant stylus vs your body's resistance, and this is, IMHO, not present in the XZU digitizer.

I should thank you for your yesterday's post in this thread here, as I nearly wanted to go to KLCC as those at the Sony store curve refused to sell it before the launching date. Luckily I saw your post, and paid the same price at RM 2299. First question that I asked was does it come with the bundled gift like other Sony store. I guess my question caught him by surprise.
