Not good advice. If sound is coming from metal-to-metal contact means the bush already worn down to nothing and can affect handling if the bush is at critical parts like lower arm. Go to a workshop and ask them to jack up the car and check the lower arm bushes and the rack end. These can affect the handling of your car. At least to confirm is not from those critical parts. The sound may be caused by harmless thing or could be serious, better check. This post has been edited by Albert B: Jan 7 2014, 01:27 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

Btw, Happy new year and long time no check-in!

Is your headlight reflector still in good condition or lost its chrome shine? Mine have faded when I compare with the 'mirror' like reflector of newer LMSTs. I am not sure if the chrome can be restored or have to replace the whole thing...

Bro, just want to ask, currently my proton iswara a/b 2002, when the aircond compressor run, I can heard come metal grinding sound, like metal hit metal like that, the more I rev the car, the more noticiable the sound can be heard. However, the sound gone after compressor not running. And one more, when the compressor kick in, my car dashboard going like to crash like that, like the compressor can shake my whole dashboard. Really annoying, but yet aircond very cool, car not feel underpowered when compressor kick in, Any sifu know any solution? All I want to settle is when compressor kick in, i dont want my dashboard shake, shake a bit is tolerable, but until whole dashboard going to crash like that is not tolerable. 2nd is what is the metal grinding sound? Thanks ><!

QUOTE(zero5177 @ Jan 9 2014, 11:44 PM) By the way, proton iswara aeroback using what size of rear speaker? around/less than 4 or at most 5" diameter? non standard mounting at the rear plastic thing there near/under the c pillar at the trunk. best is to ignore that, and install a decent component set speaker at the front doors
