uhm basically what you need

1) carbon fiber
2) screw driver
3) hot air gun/ hair dryer

i just get a pieces of carbon fiber from car garage stores where they usually do painting and tinting...... it cost me RM 25.. around 2 Meter long

then i open up my sensei(warranty already finished long ago) carefully.. ( peel the mouse feet with hot air gun/ hair dryer)

Uhm inside got some simple wiring system .. unplug and unscrew all of them.. take off the shell of the mouse

then design the shape of the mouse shell on the carbon fiber

then stick on it( on curvy arc side of mouse shell use hot airgun/ hair dryer to blow to make the carbon fiber stick nicely )

*sorry for my poor English and i dint take photo during modding

hi all, just bought myself the 5Hv3 headset. I was in a dilemma between siberia v2 and 5hv3. But in the end I took 5Hv3. Is it possible to dismantle the headset??

Hello guys. Recently my Steelseries Sensei's left button double-clicks on itself.

Then I decided to assign a left button macro to my side buttons, it worked when the Steelseries Engine is launched but not when I closed the Steelseries Engine, I have uploaded the profile to the mouse though. Any solutions to this? hmm.gif

EDIT: It works now, re-connecting the mouse helps.

my rival side rubber was wearing off after just 2 months use. sent an email to complaint and they ask me to send back to DENMARK to RMA. DHL quoted me 200 bucks to ship to DENMARK, which is about the same for me to buy new mouse. did feedback them i decide not to rma this way since too expensive, and ask if i can send to depot within the region. guess what, they just directly send me a new mouse without having me to send the old one back. awesome, just plain awesome after sales service!

after a month of usage the rubber started wear off, seriously, tat's y i hate rubber. used logitech and microsoft b4, both throw away within 3 months...
i still prefer the good old plastic.
gotten my rival via taobao. they got the stock when the rival 1st release.
rival size and the shape fit very well in my hand thus bought it the first moment the stock is available.

Rival also rubber side right?
Not sure how to maintain rubber, it's pain to make sure it does not become sticky. doh.gif
Air-cond room is one way but my room isn't air-conditioned... cry.gif

p/s: Sorry didn't make it up for Rival even though I look forward for it, Logitech G502 make sure me didn't do so... sweat.gif

rival is rubber side, it is injected into the side so tat it does not peel off
but, the rubber can still degrade and become wear off.
good mouse, bad design and material
