Erm, I think is because of vignette gua, didn't apply lens correction for this one. But TBH I can't see also, using laubeh laptop screen here sweat.gif

Hahaha, maybe I should d. Just downloaded the thing from flickr. I see transition from pure white in the center to slightly gray in the edges la.

Btw I saw the dirt spot also, between the legs.

Never noticed during processing laugh.gif

i also just searched online ppl on web also mentioned hack hmm.gif
*
The battery has a chip in it that tells the camera information such as remaining battery life and also to authenticate itself as a genuine battery.

3rd party batteries duplicate this chip in order to let themselves work in the camera. The hack mentioned is for the battery, not the camera laugh.gif

So after the 'hack', can the camera detect the remaining batt life? hmm.gif
*
The 3rd party batteries already come pre-chipped. So they work exactly like an original battery should including reporting remaining battery life.

There's no need to hack it yourself. biggrin.gif

No wonder you so thin! lol
Go and get those liquid type insect repellents that you attach to socket bro! I've used them for 2 years already, super effective, no more mosquitoes  thumbup.gif
*
Lols, have problems sleeping when I use them in the room. Sad cry.gif

Only solution is to sweep the room for these fellas every night doh.gif doh.gif

How about siggy's 17-50 ? Any good?
*
It's fairly expensive to be honest at 2K+

But what you get is both sharpness and also image stabilization unlike tamron's models where you either go for max sharpness or sacrifice some for VC.

One common problem with the siggy is the hood though, the locking notch becomes loose very fast so you can't "click" it into place anymore doh.gif

Not good la like that bro  sad.gif

QUOTE(Candlenie @ Aug 17 2013, 01:14 AM)
hey guys I'm back with another big question...will there be big difference in terms of image quality for mirrorless compare to dslr, if they're both in the same price range? Thanks!
*
Depends on which mirrorless you're talking about. Many different sensor sizes out there. laugh.gif

Image quality wise they're mostly the same in the lower ISO regions.
You'll start to notice obvious differences in noise performance when you push things to say 3200 and beyond when comparing a smaller sensor to a larger one.

Bigger sensors also allow for lesser DOF which makes it easier for subject separation and bokehlicious shots thumbup.gif

Never thought of taking a photo like this  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif
At 1st I thought those are straws haha

Yeah, was pretty bored so I started looking around for abstract shot. icon_rolleyes.gif

One of the instances where the shallow DOF is actually useful in my macro work.

Usually I doh.gif doh.gif trying to find the proper angle to maximize DOF

Very creative shot bro  thumbup.gif
Maybe can try and use timer, then act like you are "trapped" inside the ball?  laugh.gif
There are some small scratches on the metal ball at the lower right. I think it might look more realistic if they are removed hmm.gif

Just my noob two cents though hehe~
Keep it up!
*
Not sure how to do that, but I did think of using a signboard with a HELP on it laugh.gif

Yeah, noticed the scratches. But the entire ball was in pretty bad shape already so cloning them out wasn't of much use. rclxub.gif

Didn't know you didn't have one sifu lol..
I thought everyone has one
OMG! That's the largest shop at the entrance right? O_O
Walao eh... There's like ALOT of expensive gears in there  shocking.gif
*
I did have one about a year ago. But sold it to fund my 17-50 last time icon_rolleyes.gif

I thought the shop normally keeps the lenses after they close? Don't tell me they got enough brains to leave stuff worth tens of thousands with only nothing but glass separating it from the outside world? doh.gif doh.gif
