QUOTE(Iqbal_kakashi @ Oct 11 2013, 08:54 AM) Tested with my T-Muso Dac with the trial version of USB Audio Recorder. It works. Other apps won't even respond t the DAC. Only that app. are there other ways to attach the DAC without using that app, like custom roms??

QUOTE(AfricanDroid @ Oct 11 2013, 08:17 PM) Thank you again Joe, i contacted ipmart and they say small box is international version with english language included, does it really matter if i get china or international version if im going to put a custom rom on anyway ? no idea but. international better. most custom rom not really stable at the moment but save lots of space. ps (custom rom=rarely stable) install at your own discretion

QUOTE(alien9 @ Oct 10 2013, 10:23 AM) 100% correct. Since it's almost the end of the quota, the PKB registration only open for one day and that one day was on 7th October. If you are damn lucky, it will be opened again. If not, no PKB. i see, thanks for info bro.

Do you by any chance customise the original rom to exclude files you dont need ? I would be keen to try out the international handset like is, if i feel the need to add a custom rom i can just backup my original. Appreciate the help though! you dont come across forums everyday where you have such helpful people like you !

Maybe custom rom or kernel, but I don't think there's one yet for this phone. There's already custom rom for Nexus devices to support USB audio. And we don't even have cm yet for this phone. Haha. It'll take quite some time. For now,the app is the only way. If you spend most of your time to listen to music with your phone, the app will be a good buy IMHO.

Hello guys, I'm reading this thread for quite sometime, and am planning to upgrade my current ThL W3+ which been used for nearly a year now. This Lenovo P780 seems a good replacement candidate even though the camera outcome was not that good compared to my ThL W3+. Planning to handover my ThL phone to my wife later. Also I wish to express my satisfaction with Mobile phones made from China based on Mediatek (Taiwan). I do not have any problem with the hardware even though some glitches with software which is common. I even recommended few family members and friend into purchasing these type of phones directly online. And they all are satisfied. I also would like to recommend a battery saver app that I've been using for quite sometime (purchased version) that is DU Battery Saver Pro. It has a lot of extra feature which I highly recommend. Also I'm not a hardcore mobile user. I don't play games or watch videos on the phone even though sometimes did watched youtubes or vids sent to me through Whatsapp. Overall I am satisfied. P/S: my best uptime and battery was 2 days++ This post has been edited by w00t: Oct 12 2013, 03:32 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

Those warranty by shop include all the hardware except battery. Extra rm50 for 2 years warranty which is very good deal. Btw, I buy at rm879 and the following week they reduce the price.. dem Anyone know about procedure to claim warranty? I just want to have my phone reflash with malaysia rom..

has anyone tried to read CF card via card reader with this phone? I tried and it does not work, with error popping saying "damaged external storage". Do we know a list of external storage supported via USB OTG function?
ALso, today tested GPS and does not seems to work well, the locking to GPS satalite taks forever, is there any solution to this?
Thanks.
