great news for UMI users!

we now have a increased internet quota, from 500MB to now 1GB, specifically for UMI28 and UMI38.

anyhow the allocated free calls has reduced.

i think this is a fair consideration by giving up the free calls and have more quota in return. smile.gif

So existing user will get this automatically when auto-renew or need to subscribe?

nothing is forever bro, just like the old UMI28, now got new UMI28, prepaid never got FIXED

and postpaid once u subscribe that the same thing until u terminate

and now i think mostly no difference in terms of data and freebies, but still postpaid with add on package enjoy cheaper rate calling and sms, cool2.gif and easier for ipad or tablet users that never call, just pay bill no need top up and renew package, but still more or less the same

with the new prepaid plan, I feel that they're increasing the "worth" of the UMI plans to get more existing prepaid users with no plan to hop onto its UMI plans.

The pay as you use mobile data rate is 5 cent/mb if not mistaken, but now its 20 cent/mb

@all existing umobile prepaid users, if you're having this plan because of its 3x validity then do not upgrade because the new plan's validity is only 2x(so reloading RM10 will only give you 20 days of validity instead of 30 days)

haha don't think that those NORMAL prepaid users without using 3g will convert to this new plan since i believe 99% umobile users checkout at here using UMI plan for the cheaper data cool2.gif

best users for the old plan = AH GONG AH MAK,
RM 10 last 1 months, passive date 90 days, just top up RM 10 can receive call for 90 days, lowest cost for their children to call them

apparently, this plan does looks good for UMI28 and UMI38 users, but I have yet to read everything under the new plan so I won't be commenting much on it.

Some of the changes that I've noticed:
Old plan vs New plan
Validity: 3x vs 2x
PAYU data: 0.05/mb vs 0.20/mb
