too bad then. anyway, I have not tried it before(assuming that you're talking bout things like maybank's online prepaid top up), but why not go for online dealers like CnY Garage? you'll get discounts instead of service charges although I have yet to try it because for some weird reasons, I can't seem to transfer my money to him

got what discount? I just do online banking reload. No service charge.
However, the member get member benefit does not happen. I should get 15% on top of my top up, and my fren should get 5% from my top up. Donno why. Call SC 2moro to find out.

I have a question, I have only recently started to use umobile, i register the postpaid u28 on 3rd dec, decided to try it out. so i did some calls and text and surfing on the unlimited 1gb data plan. but here i am checking the bill statement today. its written RM70+ and due date of 7th February. I made really little voice calls actually but still don't understand how my bills went up to rm70+ please advice

i think it's best if you call up the CS to clarify further.

The bill statement should have details. Likely you were mistakenly signed up for U58?

Ok let me list out the normal umobile charging for first bill
1. Pro rated first month 3-31 December = 29/ 31 * 28
2. 1 month deposit 28
3. Itemized bill RM 3, can be waived
4. First bill stamp duty RM 10
5. Your call charges, could be cheaper if you buying add on package
6. Total of your bill plus 6% gst

Try check your bill behind of 2nd page should list out clearly
And last can pay bill with no me for discount

great news for UMI users!

we now have a increased internet quota, from 500MB to now 1GB, specifically for UMI28 and UMI38.

anyhow the allocated free calls has reduced.

i think this is a fair consideration by giving up the free calls and have more quota in return.

Cool.

They quietly removed the free SMS on reload though (replace with free high-speed internet, fair enough).

Also doubled the per-MB cost (though I think everyone also use umi so not a big deal).

Now if only the free calls from reloading were used before the calls from UMI....
